Ok..I am not sure why but... I published the Watermark Sample template as a test and that worked fine on my phone. The only real difference I could see between that and my current forms was that the Appearance of the photo groups were set to field-list. So I did set eh same on my forms I question and...now they work! I can take a photo and it doesn't crash and applies the watermark. I am not sure why setting the appearance should make a difference?

I just been testing the watermarking, its working a treat on an ipad 6th Gen, but on my iphone 6 plus as soon as I take a photo it says "capturing photo" then the app crashes out. I currently have two forms that I applied watermarking to, one just uses a couple of fields collected on the form, and the other watermarks the compass bearing...both crash on the iPhone. This is not happening on surveys that don't have watermarking enabled. Both are devices are iOS 12.3.1 and there is about 1.5 gb of free space on the iphone. I have restarted the iphone a couple of times and uninstalled and reinstalled Survey123 to no avail. Any thoughts? Cheers, Chris

Thanks James I have created a new survey in Survey123 Connect from scratch to publish to our Enterprise Portal, so it is a new hosted feature service that is should be creating. Hi We have a survey with multi repeats and when I try to publish to our 10.6 Enterprise Portal from Survey123 Connect (3.1.126) I keep getting get a 504 timeout error. If I take out all but one repeat (doesnt matter which) it will publish fine. It is possible to have a survey with more than one repeat isnt it?? Just wondering if there is something I am missing our if I have the syntax wrong somewhere in this form? Cheers, Chris

I'll answer this myself Changed CURRENT_TIMESTAMP to CURRENT_DATE and it worked. Can I assume it must be something to do with the data store functions??

Hi All I have created a Survey123 Form from a hosted feature layer on our 10.6.1 Enterprise Portal. I want to create a Inbox Filter to only show the last 3 years worth of records based on assessment_date (ASSESSMENT_DATE BETWEEN CURRENT_TIMESTAMP -1095 AND CURRENT_TIMESTAMP). However when I run this from Survey123 I get a Code 400 Unable to complete operation error. If I look a the logs in the server, I see the following errors: Result limit: 50 reached; ignoring any remaining objects in the query result for Layer: FuelHazard. Error: Function or procedure does not exist [db_zwh9g.hsu_xrdhm.FuelHazard]. Is that related? Incidentally in our old 10.3 Portal environment, I had published a service to the Portal where the layer was in our SDE and we edited and queried directly from our enterprise geodatabase, this same filter worked perfectly. Our new 10.6 environment has been built in the Cloud and we are now unable to edit directly to our internal databases, hence the need to now use a hosted feature layer. Cheers Chris

Hi I realise that this is a few months old, but just found the same issue. I discovered that it was due to the thumbnail size (15mb). I removed the thumbnail and reverted to the default one and the issue resolved. I think this is a new bug though as this wasnt an issue previously

We have been getting some occasional issues with staff getting 'Unable to check permission on resource hosted' errors when trying to submit surveys. This can be resolved by restarting the associated service. I think I have tracked this down to the fact that they are alternating between using an iphone and Ipad to submit surveys. Therefore I think the service is retaining some sort of lock? However there is nothing in the services log to indicate this. Just wondering if I am on the right track here, and if this is a known issue? I reduced the maximum instances to 1, but this doesnt seem to have resolved anything. Cheers Chris

Hi Roger Using Survey123 Connect Classic (2.9.3) I was able to publish you form to our Portal successfully, so I dont think there is anything wrong with logic in the xlsx? Unfortunately I haven't got another other thought's other than ruling out form issues

As per another post (look to the very end of the thread): Feature Layers and supportsApplyEditsWithGlobalIds: Starting with version 3.0 you will no longer be able to submit surveys or publish/republish a survey against a feature service that does not have the supportsApplyEditsWithGlobalIds property set to true. While this requirement is not new, we previously only enforced it for surveys with repeats. It is therefore possible that your existing ArcGIS Online or ArcGIS Enterprise feature services don’t have this capability– so please check them to ensure that they will work when you update. The easiest way to enable this property is to simply enable the sync capability (Synchronization) on your feature service. Please follow instructions in the Allow offline editing or collaboration section of the Manage hosted feature layers—ArcGIS Online Help | ArcGIS help topic for details on how to enable the sync capability.
