Hi James, Thanks for the quick reply and the reminder of how calculate stores values. Does this mean that count_selected really does return a number?

I was using count_selected for the first time. Help states "Returns the number of selected answers. Used for select_multiple questions". I expected it to return an integer but it returned the number as text. I wanted to total the number of answers from three different select_multiple questions. For each question I chose 1 answer and the note shows: 111 It did a concatenation instead of an addition My workaround was to use the int function int(${Repair_type_score_3}) + int(${Repair_type_score_2}) + int(${Repair_type_score_1}) Answer: 3 Ideally I would like to see the function return an actual number instead of a text number. In the meantime the Help could be updated to indicate this difference.

The issue occurs when I am using VPN to login to my office desktop computer from my home computer. Without using VPN, I've confirmed that results are correct when using the Time survey on both my home and office computer and both have the latest Survey123 version. The home computer is running W10 64 bit.

I had the ID parameters backwards. Another set of eyes pointed out what should have been obvious to me. It should be like this <a href="arcgis-survey123://?itemID=fbc9450254104eb4abecb1057d0f5604&field:StructureID={ID}" target="_blank">Open Repair Form<br /></a>

I've been using a popup with a custom url scheme for months without any problems. I tried adding a second link from the same popup and it won't pass the value. I've added a second custom url to a popup window in a web map that launches a different survey. The form launches without any problems. However, the ID value is not being passed to the (new) repair form. <a href="arcgis-survey123://?itemID=bebe6db8717c40ce8f55acff542a5993&field:ID={ID}" target="_blank">Open Inspection Form<br /></a> <a href="arcgis-survey123://?itemID=fbc9450254104eb4abecb1057d0f5604&field:ID={StructureID}" target="_blank">Open Repair Form<br /></a> The first form shows this arcgis-survey123://?itemID=bebe6db8717c40ce8f55acff542a5993&field:ID=RD35155D3 The second link shows arcgis-survey123://?itemID=fbc9450254104eb4abecb1057d0f5604&fieIds:ID= Is this possible?

In the date and time sample in survey123 there is a section on time only. If I input 1145 am and 1245 pm the result is "that is less than one hour". If I increment the time by one minute to 1246 pm the result is "that is exactly one hour". I've read the blog about how ArcGIS Online stores time as text. Is that why it cannot calculate correctly?

Is there any way to hide the download button in the data tab? If I'm going to share this survey with a large group of people in my organization the last thing I want to do is give them the ability to download the data. On one of my graphs the title is offset for some reason from the background header. No other graph is affected. I'm viewing this in Chrome. Is there a way for me, as the survey owner, to set the data page to not show the map for others when all of the points are off of Africa? I would rather just show the expanded table. Is there a way for me to hide the word cloud for others? I know that I can hide it for myself through the set visibility. The word cloud is being applied to a field that is an ID and it is going to have more than 500 unique values. It really should not be applied here at all. Finally, it was unclear to me at first how I was supposed to share these results with others in my organization. After setting collaborate (analyze) to my organization. I thought sending them a link to the survey would work. When I tested it with another person it wanted to download the field app to their computer. That is not what I expected or want it to do. I want it to open the web page because that is where the graphs are located. By sharing the results with My Organization should anyone be able to find this in my organization's gallery? The instructions should state that to share with others they need to sign in to survey123.arcgis.com and choose "surveys shared with me"

I now have it working on the iPad. I found that the two values that were not passing correctly were due to capitalization in the custom URL. I guess Survey123 on the iPad is pickier than on the desktop. &field:containers_size={Containers_Size} - passed value correctly in desktop but not iPad &field:containers_size={CONTAINERS_Size} - passed value correctly in desktop AND iPad

I was able to pass a value to a note field (but not a hidden field) in survey123 today. The trick is to use the calculate field as JTedrick suggested in his reply to this post on March 3rd. https://goo.gl/BRQqOD. I used the function today() in three cells and the value of 1 in another cell. This is working on my desktop browser. On an IPad with Explorer it sort of works. The first two note values and the last note value pass correctly but the third and fourth one are not passing correctly in the iPad.

I just had this same issue. Removing the role from the dataset and adding it back in did the trick. In my situation I was only having issues with features in the geometric network. I had no issues with stand alone feature classes in SDE. I was having issues with operating system connections but not database owner connections. I had also added new feature classes and rebuilt the geometric network. I had rebuilt the network a couple of years ago and did not have any problems. ArcGIS 10.4, SQL Server 2012

The parameter is configured correctly on the Access tab and the field name matches. When I look at the data the username is not being populated. Back in November/December I had coworker create and develop the first iteration of this project. It was a test version. In that version editing is working as expected. Based on that work I created a new feature service (not based on the first one) with additional fields and then configured the Reporter and Manager apps. I still have that first version and I have been comparing the apps, maps, and feature services. Almost everything is the same except: Feature service v1 where editing does work does not have a GUID field. Feature service v2 does have a GUID field. Both have a UserID field. I'm really confused because the help states "a GUID associated with each account on each feature" and yet the hosted feature service that doesn't have a GUID field I'm using in the app does allow editing and the hosted feature service in the app that does have a GUID doesn't allow editing.

In response to the first reply I recreated the scenario in a file GDB with 3 columns to eliminate any other possibilities. The image below is showing the field alias and I still received the same error. In response to your suggestion of concatenating the string and variable I get the same error. ValueInfo: IIF([MUTCD_ID]="UNK", "no image",IIF([SIGN_CATEGORY]=1,"regulatory/"&[MUTCD_ID],"no image") Expression to be eval: IIF("R7-1"="UNK", "no image",IIF(1=1,"regulatory/"&"R7-1","no image") ERROR: evaluating the expression for feature in sign with OID of 1 Expected ')' It turns out that using + as a concatenation operator is valid in VBA for numbers AND strings. It worked. ValueInfo: IIF([MUTCD_ID]="UNK", "no image",IIF([SIGN_CATEGORY]=1, "regulatory/"+[MUTCD_ID],"no image")) What really started me down this path was wanting to force the value to lowercase. It works now. IIF([MUTCD_ID]="UNK", "no image",IIF([SIGN_CATEGORY]=1, "regulatory/"+LCase([MUTCD_ID]),"no image")) Setting Value to: regulatory/r7-1 Thanks!
