Hi all, From what I can tell, if you use the "export--Shapefile" option in arcgis online to create a permanant record of the track log created in Tracker it strips out time. I've done a few tests, as I couldn't beleive it was happening but as far as I can see, all my date/time fields have been reduced to just date. If I export as a CSV it works as expected. Can someone else confirm this is happening and also whether this is meant to happen? It makes the data pretty useless without time. Cheers

Agree - Just ran into this issue myself. The only work around I could do was to simply embed a text hyperlink into the dashboard to "show all data". The hyperlink just reloads the dashboard url with no param pair. Works in a standalone dashboard example but will fall over if the dashboard is embedded.

I have the same request. The time widget is a great addition but it only applies to time applied layers (as far as I can see). I have a series of tables within a hosted feature service that the time slider widget can't see because you can't make tables "time aware". My use case is that I want to create an experience that hosts a whole host of data. I want a user to select a time period (e.g. a day during an incident) and ALL the data in the experience can be filtered. In effect allowing you to flip day by day through a project or incident. Is this in the pipeline @Jianxia and team?

When editing, can you have a repeat start on the latest entry rather than the first? Hi all, When you are editing a survey which includes repeats and reload it from your inbox, overview or sent items, the repeat question starts at 1. For my use case, that's inconvienient, I'd rather it load in and start on the most recent edition. The work around is to press the plus button, which creates the next entry and then use the delete button to get back to the latest record. That's all well and good when you know the trick, but not ideal.

Hi, I've got a 3D Connexion Space Mouse and whilst it works great with ArcGIS Pro even without support, there are a lot of opportunities to make this even better. I see that ArcGIS Urban is officially supported so it isn't like some of you haven't made a start.

Hi all, I've got stuck and I can't work out why. My workflow is as follows - a user in the field captures some data and I want to use Arcade to classify that data to create improved visuals. I've written a When statement which appears to be working in the sandpit but once it goes to the map, the value fails to materialise.... appears to work, but... Nothing appears in the popup? I should be getting a VL at the very least. // Calculate the width category
var width_cat = when(
$feature.WIDTH<=0.5,'VN',
$feature.WIDTH<=1,'N',
$feature.WIDTH<=2,'M',
'W')
// Extract Oil Distribution to make following coding easier
var oilDist = $feature["OIL_DIST"]
// Calculate the Initial Ranking
var ranking = when(
oilDist=='SP'&&width=='M','L',
oilDist=='SP'&&width=='W','L',
oilDist=='PT'&&width=='N','L',
oilDist=='PT'&&width=='M','M',
oilDist=='PT'&&width=='W','M',
oilDist=='BR'&&width=='VN','L',
oilDist=='BR'&&width=='N','M',
oilDist=='BR'&&width=='W','H',
oilDist=='CN'&&width=='VN','L',
oilDist=='CN'&&width=='N','M',
oilDist=='CN'&&width=='M','H',
oilDist=='CN'&&width=='W','H',
'VL')
Console('Width',$feature.WIDTH,'width_cat: ', width_cat,'oilDist: ', oilDist)
return ranking Anyone any ideas? Do you get the same?

Hi @jallen, Your message popped up and gave me a good opportunity to stop doing something boring. I think I would solve both questions by leveraging hosted feature views. For 1) I would ensure that the survey form includes a date field for "first observed missing". Then I would create a feature view of the data that only shows the most recent (5 days) data based on that field. That's the data I would share with the public For 2) I would ensure that the survey has a share with public "yes/no" field and then create a hosted feature layer view for that contact only if that field is "yes". I advise caution with this feature though as sharing contact info with the public is GDPR sensitive. https://doc.arcgis.com/en/arcgis-online/manage-data/create-hosted-views.htm

Thanks @IsmaelChivite, Quick question are you able to artificially adjust for speed (and altitude) using the NMEA file. I mean how does it know how fast you are travelling to simulate the frequency of the update. Really useful feature and I'm starting to play with this idea to support exercise injects including land, marine and aerial vehicles. This gets me part of the way there but I'm wondering whether Esri or any other emergency teams have started artificially creating location data feeds to make exercises more realistic. L.

@FRSadmin, You're right, I have to admit my Japanese is a bit rusty :). This link will give you a starting point with integrating with the other Esri apps using a url schema. From what you are describing, it sounds your're on the right track with having the repeat (related feature) for the bird calls vs. having a parent feature for the "base data" as you called it. You mention a need to get the data out in Excel. This is of course possible but is an extra step that I tend to try and deter my users from because you can end up spending an awful lot of time trying to get an Excel Table to "sync" with the Feature Service where the data is held in AGOL. Far easier to migrate all the downstream data analysis from an AGOL feature service (e.g. with dashboards) but that takes a bit more convincing to do. People love their spreadsheets. On the plus side, it is nearly automatic that data will capture the seconds, your only challenge is making it visible. Liam

Hi @FRSadmin, What an interesting use case. Does it have to be Survey123 for this? Your use case suggests that QuickCapture might give your users a better experience, at least for the logging of bird calls? That being said it doesn't allow for the need to edit the time stamp easily if you hit the button by mistake. I guess my question would be how common this would be and whether you can just accept a small percentage of errors in an otherwise good dataset? QuickCapture might be a way to reduce the number of spurious records as a result of a better user interface. It's pretty simple to launch QC from within S123 as well so you could do the bulk data entry in S123 (e.g. survey metadata) and then use a hyperlink to launch QC to capture the bird calls that are clearly time critical. Not knowing your workflow means I'm speculating about the content of your survey. L.

Hi @AndrewBowne and @rachelm, Excuse my noob status but what you are attempting to do is something I'd be keen to recreate. However, without a full blown @IsmaelChivite type walkthrough I'm a bit lost. Here is my attempt at doing what I think you are talking about using your screen grabs to guide me. The goal is to create a pdf report and then attach it to the source feature. Very cool stuff. I thought I was being clever by adding objectID to the URL to attach it to the correct "resource" but I think what I have done is broken it. If one of you has a moment can you cast an expert eye over my attempt and tell me what I am doing wrong. Thank you.
