Hi @BenjaminSperry1 , Don't suppose you could share the url construct so I can see how you put it all together. Obviously remove the itemID if confidential. @JamesTedrick any Geonet top tips/deep dive articles planned in the future to cover this? Its really useful for those of us who are bouncing our workflows around different apps.

Steven Moore and Deane Kensok have created a great resource in the OpenStreetMap Layers (Beta) Group. A live link to OpenStreetMap data that updates every 15 mins. Really powerful and useful foundation datasets. https://www.arcgis.com/home/group.html?id=66d66956ab444ae89e8265f008704d4b#overview What would really make this powerful is to have the coastlines added into the list of layers for each region. Currently this can be downloaded from here and I think it shows how it could be done. https://osmdata.openstreetmap.de/data/coastlines.html Any chance of adding this in guys?

I have the same challenge and the same work around. I apply a constraint against a question to stop invalid data being submitted (e.g. A percentage question with values <0 or >100). I also have to add a relevant note question so that the user knows immediately rather than getting all the way to the end of the survey, clicking submit and then being bounced back to the constraint error. By that point it's too late and they'd complain. Would be great if I could be rid of the relevant note questions and constraint worked as data entered. I'm not sure about the suggestion from Doug Browning about making this at the page level. Seems overly complicated to add that level of customisation. Surely if the constraint question was to appear on the fly, it wouldn't need to be at the page level. Users would fix the question as the constraint message appears.

Some of my users are also reporting this issue. I've tried to repeat the bug on some test devices but on mine it is functioning fine (iphone X, Ruggear Tablet, Galaxy A6). The below is using S123 on a Samsung Galaxy A20e and I've also had it on the Galaxy A40;

Great Update Ismael Chivite! Although, just when I figure out how to work through photos in a repeat workflow you go and add multiple photos solution.

Thank Ismael Chivite, I'm just catching up with the most recent update and the potential of that to our workflows. In the meantime, an absolutely shameless plug from my own Esri UC Presentation which shows how we have been using Survey123 and QuickCapture to transform some of our oil spill response workflows. Great work as always. Liam How GIS is used in Global Oil Spill Response. A Journey and Call To Action.

I also have this request. To add another use case. We want to split an observed area of oil into different categories summing up to 100%. As you see the below with Sheen occupying 100% all the other values must equal 0. If Sheen was 50% then that would leave 50% to split over the other categories. We've also used constraints to restrict incorrect answers but using dynamic variables will improve the users experience.

Hi Ismael Chivite, I think Natelie and I have solved this following your good advice. What caught us out for a while was the units of the "Shape_Area" field in the polygon. It wasn't in a unit we could figure out until I read this article. FAQ: Why are my map, distance and area measurements wrong when using WGS 1984 Web Mercator? We're guessing this is what is occuring. Anyway with a bit of Arcade magic we got the labels showing the "correct" area. It's a shame the labels won't update for new polygons whilst QC is offline. Is that true even if we follow your article about taking maps offline?Offline map for Quick Capture Thanks Liam

Thanks Johnathan Hasthorpe. It will be better in this instance so thanks for the heads up about disabling side by side. It has prompted me to add this to the ideas channel as it would be great if the app were responsive. Side by side in full screen mode, one on top of other (I don't know what you call the "not" side by side mode) if it fills less of the tablets screen. Thanks for all your help and getting back so quickly. QuickCapture side-by-side - Dynamically switch off if not maximised

Hi all, A bug i highlighted in this post Can not use QuickCapture on ipad whist split screen? prompted me to see an opportunity for improvement. Thanks to Xiaoxu Li and Johnathan Hasthorpe for their quick attention to that bug. I love full side-by-side in full screen mode, but tablets enable you to partition the screen so that two apps (or maybe more in the future) can occupy the screen. It would be good if QC could change to the one on top of other if it is suddenly squished into a smaller space on the tablet screen. You can see what I mean in this video. In full screen mode everything looks great, in float mode, it tries to hold onto side by side and it looks "less great". At the moment I have to pick, either side by side or not. If the app can be responsive to what I'm doing with it on the tablet that would be really cool.

Thanks For getting back to me so promptly Xiaoxu Li. Ive attached a short video below of the behavior. you can see when QQ is in full screen mode, the app works as expected but when it goes into floating mode whilst I can scroll the buttons and pan around on the map, the ability to activate a button is disabled. In the video i repeatedly try and change the status of the track log with no success. The behaviour is the same when it is side by side. As you can see i am aware of the map side by side but the other apps provide features that QQ can’t (and shouldn’t) which I want to harness both for my users.

Hi all, I've been playing with this with the idea of using it alongside other esri field apps, in split screen mode. However, I've hit a stumbling block. The buttons seem to deactivate in all but full screen mode. Is this a repeatable bug or something weird on my setup? ipad is ipad pro (12.9 inch) ios is 13.3.1.

Hi all, I couldn't see this idea being posted before but if it has please let me know. So I have the following challenge. When we publish a public S123 Survey for the field app, they have to download the app and then install the survey. When the user has an organisational account, they can go to downloads and get the survey from there but in a majority of cases the user is new to the app and their thinking goes like this. User Behaviour (Path of Least Resistance) Download S123 App Open App << THIS IS THE POINT IT GOES WRONG>> See that it asks for logon Try to log on Get told he hasn't got the right licence Thinks its broken, Asks for help... What we want the user to do is: Download S123 App Point phone at QR Code (or enter short url) Have the survey install Gives 5-star feedback. Is it/could it be in the roadmap to provide a mechanism at the beginning of the S123 App after first install (before login) that allows the user to either Log into Organisation OR point camera at QR code OR enter short url. Does that make sense?

Just going to share something that has taken me an hour to figure out so others don't suffer. I have been trying to replicate the "Aggregation functions (join)" example above with the auto-populating of a readonly select-multiple to show progress. In S123 Connect I could not get the blasted thing to work until I realised that I had a (very slightly) dated version of S123 Connect. Update to most recent version and all is good.

Hi all, I have a map which contains regional content in a global map. When a user opens the dashboard they see a global overview and then navigate to their region. A user has asked whether the content can automatically focus on their area from the start by knowing where their device (computer/laptop etc.) is. My first thought was to have a look at the "find my location" feature and see if that would help. I couldn't see that feature in ArcGIS Dashboard even though it is the standard Map. Am I missing something? My next question is that I am guessing even if I have missed it, it won't automatically centre on launch. The user will have to click on the button to make the map zoom/pan and even if it did, it would zoom too far in. Anyone any ideas how this first step can be achieved from the get go? Cheers Liam
