Hi @BCIGIS You should be able to accomplish this using Inference. I am providing a link to a blog and the Help topic: https://www.esri.com/arcgis-blog/products/arcgis-pro/data-management/introducing-editing-with-inference https://pro.arcgis.com/en/pro-app/latest/help/editing/inference-constraints.htm Please let me know if Inference will work or if you would like additional input on your scenario. - Jennifer

@JayHodny Each Attribute table has an option to auto update when there is only one possible option. It is accessed from the burger button at the top right of the table. The option is per table and is honored when modifying values in the Attribute table and in the Attributes pane. The error is showing because the Contingent Attribute Value Field Group is marked as restrictive. A couple options to avoid this: 1. Change the Contingent Attribute Value Field Group schema from Restrictive to optional 2. Edit required Contingent Attribute Values in the Attributes pane with the Auto-Apply option unchecked- for existing features. 3. Use the Create Features active template pane to set attributes before creating features

@CordulaGöke You may be encountering this bug https://support.esri.com/en-us/bug/attribute-values-for-previous-records-disappear-when-ad-bug-000126163 The public description may not have enough information so here are the steps that we are following to reproduce- step 5 is the key step. If you don't think this is the same issue, please work with our support team to submit a new bug. Steps to reproduce: Add a point FC to a map and open the table Activate the Create tool (Edit tab > Features > Create) Select the point layer template in the Create Features pane if necessary Click in the map to create a new point In the newly created row in the table, enter some value into a field. Do not hit Enter or Tab after Go back to the map and create a new point (you will have to click twice--once to give the map focus and once to create the point) BUG: The edit from step 5 is gone

@Melissa_B Thank you for this comment. Your comment, along with others we've received, has made us aware that it is not clear how Field Mapping works. Going forward, we will consider tool and dialog enhancements, as well as review the Help topic for clarity. In the meantime, let me try to explain what is happening. Field Mapping is an Editor setting that defines how fields are mapped between the different combinations of source and target fields and is used by multiple tools including Copy Attributes/Paste Attributes, Transfer Attributes, and Copy/Paste Special. Fields between all combinations of source and target layers are auto matched by default but can be modified by users and saved with the map. All combinations of source and target layer field mappings are always 'active', regardless of what happens to be chosen in the Field Mapping dropdowns. Further, Transfer Attributes does not change its behavior based on what is in the Field Mapping dropdowns. It will access the source and target layer's field mapping, based on what user chooses as source and target at time of use, not what may or may not have been set by users in the Field Mapping dialog. Transfer Attributes only looks at the Field Mapping grid, not the source and targets dropdowns. We are aware that this is an ArcMap equivalency issue impacting some users workflows and are considering that in our evaluation of the feedback. If you would like to subscribe: Salesforce ENH-000132605 Help topics for your reference: https://pro.arcgis.com/en/pro-app/latest/help/editing/transfer-attributes-between-features.htm https://pro.arcgis.com/en/pro-app/latest/help/editing/configure-field-mapping.htm
