Hi, before, even in Pro, we can select many objects and move them.  Now, if I select, by exemple two objects at the same position, I can't remove them.  I have to select each one individually and then move them one by one.  Do I have pass some new way to do that ?

Hey @MarcelSt-Germain

What version of ArcGIS Pro are you using? I'm able to select and move in 3.5.4 using the select then move like this here:

I would verify you're using the Select tool rather than having the Move tool selected initially that would only allow you selecting and moving one. May be able to hold shift and select using either tool as well!

I do what I done for 30 years.  I use the select tool to select the points I need.  Then, in modify features (now for Pro), I check if the one I need are there.  After, I click the  Move button to move them.  It was working since 2x but now since few updates, it's only allows one point to be selected at a time, even in the same layer.  This strange thing appears in the same time the annotations selections only work with annotation not able anymore to use the move.

Hey @MarcelSt-Germain

I'll upgrade to 3.6 myself and give it a shot, if it's similar in how it acts, I believe that a ticket to Esri support would be best to highlight any bugs and get them checked out, but I'll let you know as soon as I can!

Just to be clear, it's a few updates back that I have this strange behavior.  I was thinking that a new function to protect misleading in moving thing.. I remember having make a lot of problems with multiple selections in the arcview 3.x time.

Can you confirm that you are using the process described here

Move, rotate, or scale features—ArcGIS Pro | Documentation

shift-click to select multiple features first

Tech Support would be your best bet if the process isn't working as documented.  There may be other factors that aren't readily apparent.  Good luck, and post if a resolution is found.

Hi @MarcelSt-Germain Can you provide step by step information and screenshots?  What is happening when you are unable to Move more than one feature- is there an error or notifcation?

It's self explanatory.  One exemple, I have a buoy and a light at the same point coordinates.  I select the two.  They appear selected (Check if they are editable and they are).  After, with the move tool, I try to change the place of temp.  Nothing works except make only one select at a time.  Since I done this for more than 30years (arc view, arcmap and Pro since v. 2.x) and it's was working since a few updates ago, I suppose you change something and I can't find it.  Also, before the move was available with annotation or the annotation tool.  Now, only Annotation is working which is very annoying.
