Just to add legitimacy to Kory Kramer's claim, I have been contacted by developers after submitting crash reports with my contact info several times: once on a weekend, went something like "We're releasing this SP on monday, can you test this?". I don't, however, have 100% success on repro steps on the crashes, which is usually why they're contacting me. So if you include those in the crash report UI...... So the same person that invented the Elevator Door Close Butting did not invent the Submit Crash Report Button. If you've ever pushed that button in an elevator, you'll know that it's only wired up to a social experiment to see how impatient elevator users are, it has nothing to do with closing the door.

Despite the answer being marked as correct, still curious as to why the functionality was disabled. As we're seeing with Pro, many popular and critical Arc Map features didn't make it into the flagship product replacement, and seeing the same trend with Collector is deeply concerning. To be honest, I'm not much of a Collector user (or expert, which would make me a poor candidate for beta testing), but I'm seeing a sudden big demand from the users I support, especially the newer (younger) workforce, and this is not the only New Collector - Less Functionality issues I'm seeing. Stay tuned on that one, I may log a case on it, still working out repro steps, but the root of the issue is, nothing that has worked well in Collector Class works in this new Collector (offline maps and layers that have not been changed or reconfigured for 18+ months), which circles me back to: Why? The kneejerk answer would be: Keep using Collector Classic, but we have something of a policy "Use the latest" despite it not being the "Greatest". Throw in our Mickey Mouse wifi security flaming hoops and 1990 AOL speed (our choice) and lack of ability to sync Collector using USB (a yet to be explained ESRI choice), I continue to miss Arc Pad. Again, kicking myself for not joining the Beta on this, but as I'm sure you know, I'm focused on desktop migration which is a full-time workload and I only have time to be a late adopter on this mobile stuff. But if the line in my office this week with Collector issues is an indicator where I need to get on front of functionality issues, sign me up!

I believe the issue to be when designing a schema for an empty feature class. In a FGDB, in Catalog, I'm able to add a new text field with default, apply and close, edit the field to be shorter or longer as many times as I want. In Pro 2.3.2, I can only increase text field length. When I decrease, upon loss of mouse focus, it reverts to the original length. Bear in mind, this is on an empty feature class. Changing text field lengths is a pretty common workflow for us, we have a plethora of data standards and the mandatory field lengths of our many text fields is not always memorable (eg 50 or 255, often something like 10 or 4 instead), therefore "forgotten" 'till we review work, hence needing to increase or decrease. As such, this seems like a bug (can do it in Arc, not Pro). If you agree, Kerry Shakarjian or myself can log a case.

Kory Kramer could the first issue be BUG-000121411 Unable to modify non-nullable fields in an offline data in ArcGIS Pro when domain is set with coded values and a large selection of points are modified at the same time or BUG-000121412 Unable to modify non-nullable fields in the offline data in ArcGIS Pro when the domain is set with coded values and a single point is modified at one time.? Look at the repro steps / data I supplied on that case, sounds very familiar.

BUG-000116407 Hosted Feature Service Settings (Export, Sync, and Edit) always set to False (unchecked) when overwriting a service using the CreateWebLayerSDDraft function in the ArcGIS API for Python, which is "In Product Plan", may alleviate the setting override issue, if the fix to the python API also fixes the UI workflow.

In addition to https://community.esri.com/thread/206954-anyone-else-seeing-an-explosion-of-gdalsqlite-files-in-temp being back, I'm now seeing a massive number of thumbnails being generated by Pro Indexing. 227000 of them! !??!?! Also note the discrepancy in Index Size.

Kylie Donia the previous version of Collector allowed the selection of the sideloaded basemap during map download, which allowed users with poor wifi connections to skip the unnecessary step of having to download a huge basemap package with each map download. I'm assuming ESRI has this logged as a major bug and this will be addressed in the next release? It was previously supported, why is it no longer supported?

In the previous version of Collector, we had a default offline basemap sideloaded (https://www.esri.com/arcgis-blog/products/collector/field-mobility/using-your-own-basemap-layers-with-collector-for-arcgis/) on all of our iPads. When users downloaded a "Map", the default was to select the offline base map, as our jurisdiction is 500000 acres and it's simply not possible to download a 4 GB basemap over ANY kind of connection. This worked flawlessly for years. Now, with the new version of collector, you can still use the sideloaded basemap, but only AFTER you've downloaded the original basemap when you pulled in the map. (https://community.esri.com/message/824131-re-collector-maps-offline?commentID=824131#comment-824131: " Using a sideloaded TPK during download isn't supported at this time"). Why!?!?!? This has effectively eliminated our ability to use Collector.
