Fixing a different issue, got this issue resolved. Below solution for the other issue (not getting Analyze and Data tabs): Post here In my case, deleting the Hosted View that gets created when sharing the results fixed the issue. When the results of a S123 are shared with organization or a group, a new hosted view layer is created (SurveyName_results with an URL derived from form item ID). This view will pick the service name of the survey (you will see something like this when the view layer is created): https://services3.arcgis.com/ABCovkCPMyTRnuA7/arcgis/rest/services/survey123_abcd78e7d2b54065656625rtfc01b120_results/FeatureServer The service name is derived from the survey form itemID, in the example 'abcd78e7d2b54065656625rtfc01b120', it just adds "survey123" prefix and "_results" suffix to the URL. So, when you unshare the results in S123 web page and delete the hosted view layer, when sharing again, it will create the same URL, as it's derived from the survey form itemID. The Analyze and Data tabs use this view layer to render the pages. My problem was also that the Survey was using submission_URL from an existing hosted feature layer. This seems to generate some extra issues, like not having the Filter in the data tab (see post here ). But recreating the view also fixed the filter issue.

I tested the Experience Builder DE v1.19 and doesn't have that problem. The Near Me widget is able to run the proximity analysis with 52 layers (mix of Map and Feature Services). However, the custom template report doesn't work properly when called from the Print widget. I end up working with the default print service which doesn't allow you to change how the field names are going to be printed in the report, but at least I can generate a report. Hopefully Esri fixes all those issues.

Yes, it was replaced with quite possibly the most painfully cumbersome workflow anyone could have come up with. You have to slog through a pile of manual steps: first, build a custom print layout layer by layer, then publish it as a tool. After that, you’re forced to configure the Near Me widget and re-add Analysis for every single layer, again and again, always selecting the proximity option. Then you add the Print widget—only to repeat the entire configuration process yet again just to make it match the Near Me output with your published report. And after all that exhausting, repetitive setup, the application still doesn’t work because the Near Me widget is riddled with bugs. So, realistically, there is no proper replacement yet. It’s incredibly disappointing. BUG-000163744: Near Me very slow with polygons BUG-000172264: Near Me spins forever when Map Service layers are included in analysis (it might be fixed for AGOL, but ArcGIS Enterprise 11.5 still have it).

Is the BUG-000172264L: "After the ArcGIS Online November 2024 update, the Near Me widget in ArcGIS Experience Builder perpetually spins and shows "The analysis is taking longer than expected" when used with an ArcGIS Server Map Service." going to be fixed in ArcGIS Enterprise 11.5?. Is there a workaround to avoid this problem (besides using only Feature Services)?. To replicate the Screening Widget with the Near Me widget is already a nightmare with so many manual steps that even two blog articles were created to help with that replication, and then not getting the tool to work as expected, is very disappointing. Is there any limit in the number of layers that can be added to use in the analysis with the Near Me widget?. I have a WebApp Builder app that is using the Screening Widget, with 35-40 public datasets, mix of Feature Services and Map Services (it takes less than 1 min to give you the report). I was trying to replicate that in Experience Builder (supposedly a more performant app) in ArcGIS Enterprise 11.5, and I am getting the spinning thing forever with no results. When I tested it with 3 layers (Map Services with points), the tool worked. But, testing with the 35-40 layers the tool keeps spinning. UPDATE (11/28/2025): I tested the Experience Builder DE v1.19 and doesn't have that problem. We are now with Field Maps version 25.2.7. Still the performance for displaying layers is very slow compared to older versions (before the last month updates). Creating offline areas is now causing more issues (nothing evident in the logs that is causing the failure, more time to download offline areas and I guess timeouts), also we experienced the true curve sync issue that I'm glad is not longer there. Some offline areas are also not preserving configurations, for example we set the transparency in a layer and you can see in the online Field Map the layer is transparent, once an offline area is taken, the layer goes to solid which it is annoying for users that now have to turn off/turn on the layer all the time. We use Field Maps with ArcGIS Enterprise 11.2.

Is perhaps the issue that David Coley described in this post: contingent value class ? EDIT: I just realized this was an old issue, but perhaps might give a clue to someone looking at more recent issue.

We are having a lot more issues with Field Maps with the latest update to the Mobile App. For example, when taking offline areas some configurations are not preserved in the offline area (for example transparencies), or some layers get an empty table. We are also experiencing more issues when taking offline areas. We are using ArcGIS Enterprise 11.2 and not sure if this might be related to incompatibility issues between the new mobile app and our ArcGIS Enterprise version as all the new functionalities the new app has are not present in ArcGIS Enterprise 11.2.

Did you have a resolution to this issue?. I'm seeing the same behavior in some of my surveys. I can't see any difference between the configuration of the survey (apart from the time they were created). Thanks

You're completely right. We are in the same space. We sort of got used to work with the ArcGIS Enterprise components. But now trying to understand the implications of that extra layer and how we are getting the support from our IT team.

Hi @Scott_Tansley Esri updated the documentation indeed. We were in the middle of an infra uplift and now reviewing to include a WAF-Load Balancer in the equation. I've seen some architecture patterns including DMZ (F5-WebAdaptor)+Private(Portal+Server+DataStore). Web Adaptor | Other web gateway options And thanks for sharing your experience with the upgrade and the Edge bug too. Andres

Hi Ryan Having the same issue. Even after the cacheControlMaxAge was set up to a number different than 0, the web service seems to be sending the request to the server, and not getting the cache from the web browser cache. Did you find any answer to this problem?.

Hi In our company we got some new user types after 1st July (Creator, Professional and Professional Plus). We bought those licenses to be administered through Portal. We know that the new user types only will be available in ArcGIS Enterprise 11.4 (We are in 11.2, and planning to align with the long term release soon: 11.3, 11.5, etc). However, existing Creators licenses we had, previous the new user types came into effect, they got assigned an ArcGIS PRO Basic license trough my Esri that we could apply to Portal (getting the license file from My Esri an updating the licenses in Portal). We also got the licenses for ArcGIS PRO Standard and ArcGIS PRO Advanced with the Professional and Professional Plus acquired User Types through My Esri and we applied them to Portal. The issue comes with the ArcGIS PRO Extensions that Professional Plus is entitled to. We don't have ArcGIS PRO Extension licenses to apply in My Esri, and now we are told that those Extensions will only be available with ArcGIS Enterprise 11.4 when the new user types will be released in ArcGIS Enterprise. My questions is why we cannot get the Extension Licenses through my Esri in the same way we got the ArcGIS PRO Basic licenses for Creators we already had?. We bought Professional Plus new user types in ArcGIS Enterprise (and we bought them because of the Extensions), but we cannot apply them, and the version to apply them is not even in the market???. This shouldn't be happening, if the Extensions are not available through any interim mechanism, I guess Esri shouldn't be selling Professional Plus for ArcGIS Enterprise.
