Hi @ScottHansen__MDP_ This functionality is already supported in Business Analyst widget. You just need to configure a message action on the map that contains your feature service (point or polygon). Then when you select a feature from the map and use it as input to run infographics as follows: You can find several examples of this use case under +Create new > ArcGIS Online > Business Analyst. The BA widget works with map, list and other widgets that support record selection message actions. This works in both Workflow and Preset modes. If you want use point inputs as Preset mode, you will need to predefine the default buffer and infographics as shown below: Please note that the widget only support selecting one feature at a time. I hope this helps. Fasil T. Business Analyst Team

@RachaelChasse You can also batch select the features on map using the select tool and then create buffers for all selected features on map as follows. And then you should be able to create the sites. Please note that if you use the "set-up layer" method, the buffers created are temporary. To create sites, you must batch select the buffers from the map and click on Create sites as follows as well:

@SusanaGasquez The BA widget in ExB will support the new Europe data source sometime in 2025. Currently, the BA widget in ExB is working similar to the BA Web App (bao) to allow you specify a country and data source. This is very important feature as some countries offer multiple data sources (vintages). With regards to a workaround, it depends on which countries you are working with and the data source used to create the infographic for those countries. For example, the following ExB app contains a BA widget configured with the What's in my community? infographic. This specific template is built with Foursquare data that is available across multiple counties. Although the default setting is for United States, you can use this app in multiple counties by using the search bar or manually dropping a pin. https://experience.arcgis.com/template/fe920ba4c38c4124bd4c0a70e6296072/page/Page/ Melbourne, Australia Berlin, Germany So basically, if your infographics is built from a data source that is available in multiple countries, you should be able to use that template across different countries. Please feel free to post any additional questions specific to the Business Analyst products under https://community.esri.com/t5/arcgis-business-analyst/ct-p/arcgis-business-analyst Thanks, Fasil T. Hello @GISVP
I suspect you might not have fully migrated all your custom infographics (My/Shared) after the data update this summer.
My recommendation is you sign in to Business Analyst Web App and confirm if you have completed the data update and migration of all your custom reports. You should see this message and click yes to complete the process:
Please also note that your custom infographics are filtered by the data source (vintage). Use the data source selector to compare the list of your old vs updated/new infographic list. If you don't see your custom templates when Esri 2024 is selected, that explains why they are also missing in ExB.
Once the infographics are updated, you should be able to see them in the BA widget in ExB. Notice that the widget will default to Esri 2024 data source and you can toggle back to see the old 2023 infographic templates as well:
I hope this helps.

@JoshDryer2 I'm really sorry that you are experiencing these issues, but I encourage you to continue troubleshooting it with our technical support team. The errors you mentioned above usually happen when your project layers are unintentionally deleted or no longer accessible for some reason. My recommendation is to sign in to your arcgis.com and check your content page to make sure none of your project layers are compromised. These layers are used to store your project contents (sites, layers...) that you use in BA web app. I also recommend checking if anyone else in your organization is having a similar issue. Thanks, Fasil T.

Hi @Tia_Morita, Thanks for reaching out again. Yes, our team is tracking this bug internally and we plan to have a fix in the October update. In the meantime, I recommend the following workaround by using conditional images on the variable icons instead: When you run the infographics, the image conditional indicators will show up as expected: I hope this helps. @Tali23 I was able to get both the map and list actions update the infographic (embedded content) by configuring the map settings as follows: However, the list will also get filtered this way and you will have to clear the map selection to get the full list back. My recommendation is to post this question under ArcGIS Dashboard page as it seems a limitation of the dashboard app: https://community.esri.com/t5/arcgis-dashboards-questions/bd-p/arcgis-dashboards-questions Thanks, Fasil T.

The June 2024 update of the Business Analyst Widget in Experience Builder includes the following new features: 1. Public sharing The Business Analyst widget can now be configured for use in a publicly shared Experience Builder app. To enable this functionality, the creator of the app will need to authorize GeoEnrichment using their own subscription when publishing the app, and then share the app publicly. The creator of the app must also share any custom infographics and contents publicly for the Business Analyst widget to work properly. Authorize GeoEnrichment when publishing When the Experience Builder app is shared only with the organization, members of the same organization including those without GeoEnrichment privileges can access the Business Analyst widget after signing in. When the app is shared with everyone (public), anyone outside your organization can also access the widget without signing in. Note: The credit consumptions by the Business Analyst widget will count towards the organization when the app is published by authorizing GeoEnrichment. We recommend being cautious when sharing your application publicly. The Business Analyst widget provides additional configuration options to limit infographic exports and GeoEnrichment request rate limiting when publishing the app. However, setting a low request limit is not recommended as the widget makes several GeoEnrichment requests that do not consume credits. When the GeoEnrichment request limit is exceeded, users will not be able to use the Business Analyst widget. Click here to learn more about these configurations. 2. The user interface has a refreshed new look The search and buffer steps of the workflow mode have been redesigned. Updated user interface 3. Polygon feature styles The styles of polygon features in a web map are now preserved when running infographics by selecting those features. Previously, the infographics only showed the polygons with red outlines that caused accessibility issues for color blindness. Web Map styles preserved in infographics 4. Data updates The Esri 2024 data update is here. That means the Business Analyst widget will now include updated infographics with the latest data sources. If your existing widget is previously configured with Esri 2023 data for United States, the infographics will continue to work as expected. However, to get the latest infographics with Esri 2024 data source, you will need to edit the app and select the new data source, and then the updated infographics. If you have any custom infographics (My/Shared infographics), you will need to complete the update process in the Business Analyst and Community Analyst web apps first. Esri 2024 data source available Due to the deprecation of the Esri 2021/2022 data sources, you will see this message if your existing widgets are configured with these data sources. To update to the latest data source, edit your app and select one of the latest data sources available. You can learn more about the data deprecation in this blog article. Esri 2021/2022 data sources deprecated Important: If you have an older app created sometime in 2023 with Esri 2023 data source (USA), you might see this error message as well. In this case, you will need to edit the app and re-configure the widget with desired data source and re-select the infographics list if using the Workflow mode, and re-select the preset infographics if using Preset mode. Then save and publish the app. Additional resource: ArcGIS Experience Builder applications with the Business Analyst widget fail to load with a deprecated data source error

@dlaytonfawcett Yes, as long as the publisher of the the Experience Builder app authorizes the required GeoEnrichment service when publishing the app, and then share the app with the public. Please note that the author of the app must also share all custom infographics and contents publicly for the Business Analyst widget to work properly in Experience Builder. As you might know, this kind of functionality has been available for other widgets in Experience Builder that require special privileges and consume credits, like the Directions widget. With the next update, the Business Analyst widget will be in feature parity as well. We will publish a detailed blog on this highly request new functionality for the Business Analyst widget next week.

Yes, the features have to be visible on the map for the filtering functionality. Although we don't have a specific number of feature that can be returned, you will notice some performance issues if you bring in a very large number of features. In the example below, the layer contains less than 50k features and it works smoothly. Thanks, Fasil

Hello @alexrealestate The easiest way is to host your exported infographic HTML on a web server. And then embed that url in your web site/blog.... If you don't have access to a web server, you might want to explore hosting it on Github as mentioned in this article: https://www.geeksforgeeks.org/how-to-host-a-website-on-github-for-free/ You can skip some of the steps as you are uploading .html file. Thanks, Fasil T.

Hello @GBacon, My recommendation is to apply the filter at the layer level before creating the custom data. You can do the following inside the BA web app: 1. Expand the layer and click Filter by attribute option 2. Apply your filter and click Save as a new layer at the bottom 3. Use the new filtered layer for custom data I see that you are using point feature layer for your custom data input. Please note that the values of all the point features inside your study area will be summarized using this approach. I am not sure if this works for you but you can also explore using your point feature layer as input to create a nearby table. The nearby workflow allows you to filter your input layer by attribute: Then you can summarize the numeric values of all the point features inside your study area in the nearby table as follows: I hope this helps, Fasil T.
