Add the ability to buffer off a feature class in Experience Builder's Business Analyst widget

In Experience Builder's Business Analyst Widget, you can buffer off a point that a user drops on a map or you can enter an address in the search, but there is no way to load a feature class, so that a user could buffer off it instead. Being able to load your own layer to focus the analysis is greatly needed.

This functionality is already supported in Business Analyst widget. You just need to configure a message action on the map that contains your feature service (point or polygon). Then when you select a feature from the map and use it as input to run infographics as follows:

You can find several examples of this use case under +Create new > ArcGIS Online > Business Analyst. The BA widget works with map, list and other widgets that support record selection message actions.

This works in both Workflow and Preset modes. If you want use point inputs as Preset mode, you will need to predefine the default buffer and infographics as shown below: 

Please note that the widget only support selecting one feature at a time.
