Hi, We have noticed the issue: Steps to reproduce: - in ArcCatalog 10.3.1, create file geodatabase, create mosaic dataset, add raster jp2 to the mosaic dataset. - in ArcMap 10.3.1, add data i.e. the mosaic dataset, make sure it works, remove data. - in ArcMap 10.5.1, add data i.e. the mosaic dataset, open Footprint layer attribute table, start editing, edit field MinPS to value 1, save edits, stop editing, close the app. - in ArcMap 10.3.1, try to add data i.e. the mosaic dataset, make sure an error message appears "Error opening mosaic dataset"

Hi Mody, We have the same issue. As for now, two reasons found: 1) Mosaic dataset has overviews with a broken path to the file. Solution: - Run Export Mosaic Dataset Path tool with Export Mode: Broken. - Delete the overviews. - Rerun Manage Tile Cache tool 2) Manage Tile Cache tool runs with Area of Interest It is a known bug fixed in version 10.5.1. Hi, We have a feature class and a joined table by attribute. Recently, we change the source of the joined table. In the past, it was located in a geodatabase, now - in a file geodatabase. The problem is a poor performance on Select by attribute by the field from the joined table. Both joined fields are indexed. Searching field (Select by attribute) is indexed. The only difference is that in the past the joined field in joined table was a primary key, now not (just indexed). What could be a reason for the poor performance?

Probably, we are not correct to select way we prepare data for publishing. What is the best way to prepare and publish? ESRI help says: Prepare source data Obtain source elevation data for your area of interest. The source data can be from LIDAR, photogrammetry, spot, or contour sources, but you need to create a DTM from it. Save the derived raster DTM as a stand-alone TIFF or load it into a geodatabase as a raster dataset

Hi, We have very heavy elevation data >10 terabytes of *.asc files of 1 or 2 or 5 metres. amount of ascii files about 40,000 ascii files organized in subfolders size of an individual ascii file from 1 MB to 40MB. The caching machine that we run 21 cores (from 24) generates only about one Gbyte cache per hour. It has been running more than two week as far. We are looking to ways how to increase performance. 1. transform *.asc files before adding to Mosaic Dataset 2. calculate overviews before calculating a cache 3. any other solution/ideas Geoprocessing tool "Manage Tile Cache" (NOT ON THE SERVER), ArcGIS Desktop 10.5 Any help please.
