I think it would depend on what browser is used and maybe even device (tablet or phone) settings. If using on a desktop, I just checked and there's an on/off toggle under the settings for both Google Chrome and Mozilla Firefox. When I search on my phone's (iOS) settings, there's also an auto-fill menu for Safari.

Hi @Anonymous User, simply don't use the browser's autofill function. I've found there isn't really a way to use autofill just on one or two fields—it seems like it is either all-or-nothing once your browser has captured your default entries. If you still want some of your own information to populate in your form, you could use the "default" column in the "survey" sheet of the XLS. I do that for dates and times using today() and now() which populates the current date and time when a user begins entry in a new survey.

@ClaireInbody1, I see this is a few years old... Have you successfully implemented a Survey123 Form and Feature Report for this USACE Wetland Determination?

I think the XLS Form design of the survey (based on the attached WDF PDF) is relatively robust, i.e., has most if not all questions and choice options, but may have at least several things that could be optimized. For example, the Tree, Sapling, Shrub, Herb, and Woody Vine Stratums (Vegetation section) all have free-form text (field type) entry for species, but could be changed to a "select one" such that there are coded choices in a drop-down menu that draw from a discrete list of species (that I create and program into the XLS form). Same goes for the soil color entry. It's a text field but could be changed to multiple choice. I'm not familiar enough with the USACE WDF process, but can imagine some surveyors pull from a list of official soil colors, assuming there's a common standard for these that is set by an agency like USDA NRCS or USACE. I've heard that there can be a wide range in how folks complete the form (when it's done by paper), like writing text where there should be a numeric value recorded or vice versa. From a UX perspective, all of this will need to be ironed out by experts and seasoned wetland surveyors who're versed in the WDF process before I can prepare a Feature Report to go along with the Survey. The Feature Report is the next big hurdle!

@CurtKleist, I haven't received any feedback on it yet, so feel free to give it a whirl, especially if you're familiar with Survey123! It'll be important for me receive feedback in order to better understand changes and revisions that will need to be made to the form, and prior to making any attempts to develop a Feature Report that matches the official USACE WDF PDF (which is ultimately my goal).

@KateEkhator74, is your study area in the United States? I might suggest you try the MRLC National Land Cover Dataset (NLCD) for 2019 since it may be more recent than the MODIS-derived product you're using, as far as I can tell. Spatial resolution is relatively coarse, but if you're study area covers a wide extent it may be appropriate for your application.

Following on this suggestion, curious to know if there are solutions for live orthometric height transformation of the GNSS altitude/HAE attribute (with NGS GEOID12B, or others) during mobile data collection in field apps like Survey123, Collector, et cetera while integrated with an external receiver.

Hi @BradyONeal, if you click the link in my post in this thread just above--that will take you to the other main thread where I've shared the published form. I'm hoping to get feedback on the form design and mechanics (which will inform revisions to the XLS Form) prior to starting work on developing the Feature Report Template.

Contiguous/uniform areas in the Flow Direction result usually mean the surface is flat (like open water), but it might be some other artifact in your original DEM or Filled DEM because those triangle-like areas suggest there was null/no-data cells in your original input raster. You're correct that the Flow Accumulation (after Flow Direction) will turn the result into lines--you may just have to adjust the symbology (two bins, make one black and one white) to see the linework.

The new Address question type will be a game changer when the exact address is known. Also nice to have the full address (from Geocoder) populate in a secondary field based on the device coordinates with use of the pulldata function in the calculation cell: pulldata("@geopoint",${FeatureLocation},"reversegeocode.address.Match_addr")

I agree that there is somewhat of a gap in functionality between Survey123 Connect and the Web Designer. It would be interesting to see the most useful features from one integrated into the other and vice versa, i.e., bring some of the more advanced functionality from Connect (specifically, the XLSForm mechanics) into Web Designer and bring some of the GUI benefits from Web Designer into Connect.

I've developed a USACE Wetland Determination Form in Survey123 for the Atlantic and Gulf Coastal Plain Region (PDF Version 2.0) and I'm looking for folks to beta test it, suggest improvements for how the implementation can be refined such that it makes use of the most sophisticated aspects of Survey123 functionality as possible (within the limitations of the USACE WDF survey design). I've attached the PDF I followed to draft the S123 design. The Survey123 form can be accessed through this link. I plan to draft a Survey123 Feature Report template next so the results can be exported from the S123 feature service into the format of the PDF.
