From ScottRawhouser...
The process to attach photos to points was fairly easy. The database you are using has to be 10.1 or better, we are using 10.2. Once you have your feature created in the newer geodatabase, you can enable attachments by right clicking on the feature and choose to enable attachments. When you are in editing mode, you will notice a little paper clip in the attributes window that will allow you to add photos. The comments part is just another table that gets created and added to the map. The fields of the table are FacilityID, Comments, Rank, Submitdt. This table needs to be in the map in order for comments to be added. Let me know if you have any other questions and I hope this information is able to help. Thanks
Perfection on the photos. I just got them working, now to hit the comments and see if his information gives me what I am looking for.

I'm wondering if anyone else has already dealt with something like this and maybe has a simple walkthrough or workaround. I have an Intersection MXD. It has a Streets file where all the streets were dissolved (to combine the street names). I created the Intersection points and now at each intersection I have multiple points. For instance, at the Intersection of Admiral and Main I have 2 points. Point 1 : StreetName = Admiral Point 2 : StreetName = Main I need to get these multiple points into a single point for each intersection. For each point I need to have both street names as separate fields. Point 1 : Field1 = Admiral Point 1 : Field2 = Main I have been playing with Spatial Join and coming up blank... Anyone done anything like this before? I feel like the answer is probably very simple and I'm just overlooking the obvious... but I'm unable to think outside of this box.

I believe that Bill Chappell has figured this out (please chime in with directions Bill!)... I am trying to figure out what process is used to attach Photos to my Parks in my ParksFinder app! I've created the Attachment Table (Park__ATTACH & Park__ATTACHREL) in Catalog, but I can't for the life of me figure out how to get photos actually attached! Any help would be appreciated!

I tried to 'Share' a map with someone in another government organization (I work for city government myself) and because the bit.ly url was in the e-mail it was blocked completely from showing up. It didn't go to their junk mail, it wasn't retrievable by some mystical outlook voodoo, it just was not allowed through. So my question is this... Is there some way to dismantle or turn off the URL shortener?

Bill Chappell did you ever get the comments changed out for a Park Rules section? I would be interested in the process needed to do that.

Is there some means of restricting the SEARCH engine to only searching within a specific Extent? My ParksFinder app is for the City of Tulsa, Oklahoma. It would be nice to have any address I plug in to the search window to NOT require me to enter TULSA and OKLAHOMA in order to stop it from searching Australia?! Any ideas?

I was able to make the ParksFinder application work on our external server: http://maps.cityoftulsa.org/Parksfinder/ This is a 10.1 DMZ Server, serving through a 10.1 Web Adapter from a 10.1 ArcGIS Server, using data from a 10.2 Database. I have setup the app, registered with AGOL, but now I'm getting a weird error. Failed to load resource: the server responded with a status of 500 (Internal Server Error) http://<internalserver>.main.cityoftulsa.org/ParksFinder/proxy.ashx?http://server.arcgisonline.com/arcgis/rest/services/USA_Topo_Maps/MapServer?f=json&callback=dojo.io.script.jsonp_dojoIoScript2._jsonpCallback It does this for all 3 ArcGIS Online services I am using... a couple Topo maps, and an Imagery map. I can't get the app to move past this section and I'm wondering if it has anything to do with having a registered with AGOL map that is on our INTERNAL_ONLY server... or what? Confused and lost...

My data is in a 10.2.2 geodatabase. Running on a 10.1 ArcGIS Server. Connected via a 10.1 Web Adaptor. The Search by Activity isn't working. http://maps.cityoftulsa.org/Parksfinder/ Could this be due to the differences in versions?

I have a webmap that is an Internal version of an External map. We have the map working on our external server which is 10.1 but there are some issues that we have come to understand could be related to the difference in version between the Server and the LGDM. So we want to post the (mostly) working ParksFinder from our External server to our Internal server (which is a 10.2 Server) in order to see if that fixes the issue. However, our Web Adapter is 10.1 and so I'm wondering if I can just post the webmap to our Internal 10.2 Server and process through the 10.1 Web Adapter.

Eric Chiasson, If I have a 10.2 and a 10.1 server setup, and I want to post some web maps would you register another server with the web adapter? Or is that a bad idea?

Having a breakdown like this is something that should be a part of the documentation for the web adapter. Sadly it is not. This is an excellent, simplified, answer to many, many questions. Nicely done Eric Chiasson, very nicely done.

I am just wondering if there is an EDITOR version for the ParksFinder map/app available? As the GIS Web Map person for our Local Government I would MUCH rather let the Parks Department have an Editor map that I can make available internally only where they can add parks, adjust Activities, and update information for each park. Does this exist? ( and if not, why not?! lol )

In the InfoPopUpWindow that is generated when clicking on a park I would like the URL to be aliased out and not listed as a plain, URL. Like on the TryItLive.esri.com site. What do I need to do to make that happen.

Here's the answer... When I created the LocalGovernment Data Model in our SDE server, I imported from the XML Workspace. The Attachment relationships and tables were all created via that process. I just deleted the Park__ATTACH table (and the relationship for it) and voila... I could NOW go to LocalGovernment.SDE.Park and Manage > Create Attachment and voila... It works... the site works now...
