I am not sure without trying it myself. I personally would extract the exif data from the photos in order to grab all of the attributes that I would (like x,y, and z), then put those back into the attributes of the point feature.

Vasil Lefterov, This is kind of an age old question. For me, when I see CAD issues like this, I try all sorts of trouble shooting to make it work. Have you tried just adding your CAD file as a layer instead of importing into the GDB? Is there a similarity in what you're not seeing? Is there something special about these missing layers (like are they 3D or have custom values/symbologies)? Have you tried messing with the CAD drawing itself to see if it will import correctly (like converting it to a different CAD file type or exporting out a separate copy)? Have you zoomed to the full extent to see if the layers/features ended up somewhere else? Are they showing up in the attribute table? Those are a few suggestions to start with.

Derek Law This is amazing! I was banging my head all over this and didn't even know I could change the #'s and ?'s and have it behave the same. What's weird is that I used another link that had a # in it (it was an html bookmark) and it worked just fine (though it was not the solution I was looking for). Anyways, this completely solves my problem! Thanks!

Jennifer, I would suggest reaching out to your local governments and seeing what process they take to do this sort of thing. That might be a good start.

Hi Aaron Woods Thanks for the response. That does look cool and does what I need it to do. But, does that translate to ArcGIS Online somehow? I would like that same kind of functionality in ArcGIS Online‌.

Hi Venkat Taladi I have not tried this so I am not sure (what happens when you try it?). One alternative is just publishing the points and then label then. Another alternative is, in CAD convert those labels to lines and then just publish the lines so they will behave exactly as they do in CAD.

This seems like a simple thing and I wonder if it has to do with my hyperlink. I have a simple dashboard with a map, a list, and an embedded content item. I have it set up to where [ideally] the user clicks on the feature in the list and my embedded content changes. But this doesn't happen with some links. It's like the embedded content needs a small refresh nudge to refresh. Is there a way to force this refresh? William (Will) Patterson I know this is an old thread but I search for SVG file types and came up with this one: But I can't copy and paste an SVG here (don't use the one above). Go to this link: https://svgsilh.com/image/2025680.html And click on Download SVG. In ArcGIS Pro, under the symbology for a point feature, under the layers tab, drop down the list to "Shape marker". Then click on File to find the SVG file. From here you can choose this drone svg and manipulate the size and color, etc.

Robert Blash HMM, It looks like what you're seeing is standard behavior, as described in this FAQ: FAQ: Is it possible to add arrow symbols in ArcGIS Online? I wish there were more options, but unfortunately, that is one of the limitations of hosted feature layers. I know this thread is old but I felt like it needed a response.

Jennifer Sniffen, when you say accepting subdivision maps digitally, what format are you referring to? CAD files (dwg, dgn)? PDFs? If they are CAD, it really helps if they have a spatial reference (it might be a good idea to require that in submissions). That way you can place them into ArcMap (or Pro) in the right place). Otherwise, you might have to georeference it in. Hi, my company has a drone (DJI Phantom). We take video flybys with it. We use Pix4D Mapper for doing whatever with image processing and such. (I don't use the drone or software so my knowledge is limited on that entire process). We would like to see a drone video flyover and would like to see the flight line taken by the drone, along with an animated icon that shows where the drone is along the flight line. Does that make sense? Can something like this be done in ArcGIS Online and/or similar products/extensions? I've seen this type of service provided by OcuMap (OcuMap for 360Panoramic Street Level Mobile Mapping System, 3D imaging ) but I wonder if I can somewhat recreate this with what I have (or if I need just one other software/service). Dan, thanks for the reply. What you're saying is that no, there is not a native way to do this, but here are some alternative workarounds. I appreciate the assistance but I wished these solutions worked for what we're looking for!
