In my case I have 10 projects with 100s of layers (some are group layers) so manual adding is not really an option.

Hi, Problem is really that some of the web maps have 10s of layers (wfs). So not very easy to start adding layers to a new web map. Unless if there is a python way to interrogate every web map2 in turn, get all layers' ids/names and then create a new web map and iterate through the layers list and add each of them. Is this possible?

Hi @Laura I need it to have all layers from all webmaps - regardless of duplication - in the new combined webmap.

Hi all, In our portal I have ~10 webmaps covering different projects. Each webmap has different number of layers (web feature layers). The projects cover different areas (sometimes overlapping). Is there a way to create a new webmap which will show all 10 webmaps' data in one place? I know it will be very messy and potentially not very performing, but this is an ask.

Thanks for the replay Richard. I am not sure what you mean by the last sentence there. Thinking about is I will need a something like strip map index features generated on the river layer with 500 m in length, but for each parcel, not for the line as a whole.

Thanks for the idea. So now the intersected rivers have the name of the parcel as attribute. Good, I can then produce the map series in the layout using this river pieces. Page query also works. The only thing that remains is how to show the river in a parcel at a fixed scale of 2500m. Long parcels would autoset the scale to 5000-1000m. I effect I need smaller pieces of river in any parcel so they can fit on multiple 2500 scale maps on the map series. Any ideas, besides manually splitting the river?

Hi Peter, I was considering this spatial map series, however there is the requirement to not have the adjacent parts of the river shown in the layout. Also how to get the name of the parcel to the layout title?

Hi all, I need some ideas. I have a river - long feature. It passes through many (100s) of land parcels. River is intersected with the parcels to split it to parts per parcel. I need to produce 100s of layouts at a set scale, showing the river passing through each parcel. Sometimes the parcel is long and 2+ layouts are needed to show the river in that parcel. Some caveats: I need to name each layout with the parcel name (it is an attribute in parcel FC). The name must be written in a text box (think of it as title) in the layout canvas. Each layout must only show the part of the river passing through it. Neighbouring parts of the river must be off. Any ideas how to achieve this?

Hi all, I have an SDE database in oracle, SDE v. 10.8.1. I have some feature datasets in SDE and some data outside of a FDS. I can add any data in arcmap 10.8.1 being from a feature dataset or not. I noticed it has the word 'representation' in from of the FC's name in TOC. I also have arcgis pro 3.1 on another PC. Using oracle client 19.3.0.0.0 I can connect to the SDE and see the data. However I can not add any FC from a FDS to a map in pro. It will pop a message 'adding data' and then nothing. No FC in TOC, nothing. What am I missing?

Hi all, Something very strange. I have a FGDB with a lots of domains. I want to alter some of them using alfter domain command in arcpy. If I run the command first time for domain 1, it changes it OK. Then if I run the command again for domain 2, it changes it OK, but domain 1 is deleted from the list of domain. Any next run of the command for domain 3, 4, 5, etc, changes them OK, and leaves all previous changed domains there. So only domain 1 get deleted. Sam behaviour if run as stand alone python script or in arcgis pro python, command by command. Any ideas?

Hi Bill Thanks for the picture. I assume this is part of a UN? So you have a feature class in there called electric line. It seems to me that the asset group and asset type are domains (as in drop down coded value domains in fgdb). Is that right? Than you assign value from these domains to the lines in your FC. 2 things: where is the voltage separation by asset group? If you created a FC called electric line, what and where are the constraints imposed by the UN in terms of number of FCs?

Hi all, I am very new to the concert of utility network. Please be gentle, a few newbie (stupid) questions will follow. I have read some documentation about UN, but still have some things which are not clear. I have a geometric network now for electricity now. In there I have a lot of feature classes, e.g. HV,LV (lines), meter, pole (point). The way I understand it is that UN has very few feature classes. Instead the "things" are contained in single table and what they are is determined by attributes. I read about the terms asset group and asset type. What I don't understand is how the multiple tables in GN will be translated into single tables using the above UN terms. For instance will the 2 feature classes HV and LV become entries in one line feature classe of the UN each with attributes describing their voltage? And which term would this be asset group or asset type? Or I am completely wrong so far? Any help appreciated.

Thanks all. My points is not to have to create the attribute fields on the polygon layer manually. Possibly it can be automated... Spatial join - I was thinking about this. Do you mean the tool in the toolbox or the right-click>join potion on the layer?

Hi all, I have a point layer with 15 attributes. I digitized a polygon layer - one polygon around each point. How can I transfer/assign all attributes from the point layer to the polygon layer, based on point completely within polygon? Thanks.
