@MehdiPira1 Thanks. I know I can use a few tools from the SA toolbox. Question regarding the 'tool overload' still remains. I don't want to run the points against 2500 grids. Hence the question about how to strategy this.

Yes, I am aware of that. However I have to load 2500 grids in the tool. They are all in different folders. Even then I am not sure it will succeed, because of size.

Hi all, I have one points FC with about 5000 points. Their maximum bounding rectangle is 50 by 50 km. I also have 2500 1m resolution DTM elevation ASC grids. Total size is 17.5 GB OS grid data. What is the best approach to assign elevation to my points from those grids? Caveat is that while the points cover the 50by50 km area, there are location where there are no points. I have access to spatial analyst. Any ideas appreciated.

Hi, I have a labelling expression that need to input the '<' character. I also have some text formatting like a="<CLR red = '255'> 1</CLR>" if [Qualifier] =='<': b=' \x3c' return [PointID]+b+[maxres]+a and adding < simply break everything. If I dont use the formatting, < can be added. So how do I escape it?

Hi, I got a case where I have 3 points with the same coordinates (duplicated, but need to be). Each has an attribute (numeric) with different values: e.g point,value 1,55 1,44 1,456 2,33 2,34 2,67 3,45 3,65 What I want to to label these points on the map, but only showing the highest value for each of them. So only one label for point 1 showing 456 etc. Any ideas how to do so?

Hi all, I am trying to add some data from mdb access database to arcgis pro. Following this manual: How to Connect Microsoft Access Database to ArcGIS Pro - GIS Tutorial (freegistutorial.com) However in arcgis pro I can not see anything populated in here: This might be something to do with 32-bit/64-bit ODBC drivers. In the 64-bit ODBC admin it says access ODBC is only 32-bit. I do configure it in the 32-bit admin, but it doesnt show in arcgis pro. Any idea? P.S. I can use arccatalog to connect to this same mdb file.

As far as I remember, maplex required separate license. Is that so?

Thanks Dan. However they need to remain duplicated. This is inherited data, so I can not do much to improve it. Otherwise it must be one to many relationship and all rosy. So the question still remains. More over I am surprised my code doesn't work. Any idea why?

Hi all, I have some point which are on top of each other (duplicated). They have same name Dont ask why 🙂 When I label them with their name, I get 3-4 labels. Is there a way to label only one of them, the other labels just make the map messy. I did try with python, but I am not getting what expected. Here is my code, I use in the label properties dialog: def FindLabel ( [LocationID] ):
ll=open(r'c:\Users\lefte-va\test1.txt').readlines()
if [LocationID]+'\n' not in ll:
with open(r'c:\Users\lefte-va\test1.txt','a') as myfile:
myfile.write([LocationID]+'\n')
return [LocationID] This returns empty(no label values). Any ideas?

Hi all, I see some strange behaviour. We have a portal and federated server (v10.6.1). Using SAML auth. I am admin. I have one service (hosted), call it service1. I can see it on portal and the service url on server is: https://domain/server-adaptor-name/rest/services/Hosted/service1/FeatureServer/0# If I click on it it takes me to https://domain/server-adaptor-name/login/?returnUrl=https://domain/server-adaptor-name/rest/services/Hosted/service1/FeatureServer/0# All I can see is white screen and nothing. Going to https://domain/server-adaptor-name/rest/services/ shows the services OK, but I can not see anything in the folders - same as above. What is this behaviour? I seem to remember I was able to see the service definition in the /rest/.... path pathern.

Thanks for your help. So if I don’t have the data making the 3d layer I won’t be able to do the full migration from agol to our portal. Is that so? on the other hand if I have the data making the 3d layer, I can have the scene reconstructed so to say in our portal, using the json, but updating the defences in it to point to our portal, not to agol. Did I get the above 2 points right?

I am confused about some terms. What's the difference between the content and the layer in the example above? If I use this tool to copy the JSON what gets copied and what won't? If it doesn't copy the service data, where do I get it from?

Thanks Russel. I am new to 3d scenes. I don't have access to the original 3d data or slpk. To anything really. Also please elaborate on the JSON option. Do I have to have the data and what's the relationship between scene layer and the scene package?

Hi all My organisation has a 3d scene hosted in AGOL. It is a building 3d scene. Now we want to publish the same scene in our local portal. What is the best way to do this? How can I download the 3d scene data from agol? One way I imagine is downloading the 3d data and republish from arcpro to our portal. Is this the best way or there is something better? thanks in advance.
