We are seeing similar issues with some users unable to load WebApp Builder apps that are hosted on our ArcGIS Hub Premium sites. It seems to be a device issue rather than a user account issue.

This is a very useful post. Ignore the below. I figured it out. Does anyone have any guidance for doing this but using multiple sublayers? For example, our source layer contains 4 sublayers and we want to create views that contain 3 out of the 4 sublayers (id's 1-3). This will also require setting different visible fields as the fields are not the same across the 3 sublayers, and ViewDefinitionQuery statements for each of the 3 sublayers. Many thanks.

Your best workaround may be to add Text cards instead which are not dependent upon permissions (unless the visibility of a Row is set to only appear for particular groups). There are some useful guides for formatting text cards (e.g. https://community.esri.com/t5/arcgis-hub-blog/make-your-site-dynamite-with-calcite-design/ba-p/1386336). Then user's could still click the links to the applications but they might be required to login where appropriate?

Hi @ChelseaNivison I have passed on some concerns to our account manager, but to highlight an issue here - limiting the number of users that can administer our hub community will cause us some issues. We have multiple initiatives, each overseen by one or more different staff members who have devolved responsibility for managing both the initiative and the associated community users (e.g. user invites and account setup, password resets, group allocations). Being limited to only 3 hub administrators will force this workload back to fewer staff and also remove project ownership from the relevant staff within our organisation. Please can this be reconsidered. Also, can you confirm whether or not it will still be possible to manage roles and create custom roles for the updated Hub Community Member user type? From Esri support: "We have now reviewed and raised a defect record which is attached to your case (BUG-000172218). The status of this can be tracked within MyEsri. From testing the issue seems to be specific to point layers that use a BNG projection that were published to ArcGIS Online before last night's update. The points default to 0,0 when a non-BNG basemap is being used so for working around this at the moment I would advise testing your impacted layers with a new Web Map that uses a BNG basemap, or publishing a copy of the layer as both of these workflows appear to work around the issue."
