I've tried other solutions such as deleting registry for AGOL, and also adding AGOL domains to Internet Explorer's trusted sites. None of this was a reliable solution as they only worked at times. I've tried connecting to AGOL via https and this has been consistently working for me. Open ArcGIS Adminostrator > Advanced > Manage Portal Connections. You'll see http://www.arcgis.com in the list. Click on Add and enter https://www.arcgis.com/ and then Connect.

Maybe "Editors can only update and edit the features they add" option is checked for your feature service?

I suggest enforcing relationship class rules to feature service and applying that to Collector. "[...] HazMat landfill can be related to one or two deep wells or between two and seven shallow wells. However, if a sanitary landfill is related to a deep well, but no rule has been created between these two subtypes, the Validate Features command will consider the relationship to be invalid(http://resources.arcgis.com/EN/HELP/MAIN/10.1/index.html#//004t00000004000000)" In above scenario, it'd be ideal if user selects HazMat in the origin table, only deep wells and shallow wells show as available choices in the destination table drop-down. Also, if the number exceeds the maximum limit, show a warning message to user. I suppose this can be a challenge for offline data collection.

Does Collector honor relationship rules? I've created a relationship class with which a certain subtype value in origin tables are related to specific subtype value(s) in destination table. For example, if "Submersible" station type is selected in the origin table, only the "Wet Well" is valid subtype in the destination table. However, when I publish a feature service from a database that contains the rule, Collector lets me select and submit invalid subtype values in the destination table. Is this feature not supported within Collector?

I have a feature service in which multiple feature layers are related to the same, single table (one-to-many relationship). My brief test result shows that this works on Collector even for offline data collection. Point layer: Related to table A (one-to-many) Line Layer: Related to table A (one-to-many) Since only cardinality not supported on Collector is many:many, I think my database schema should work fine as long as the primary key values are unique. Am I correct on this?

I have a question regarding creating relationship class for offline data collection. According to this Esri blog, "we recommend that you create relationships using the GlobalID field on your layer so that primary key of the relationship (your parent hydrant feature) is guaranteed to be unique when establishing a connection to a new inspection record." And then in this ArcGIS Server documentation, it reads, " elationship classes and attachments must use a Global ID primary key." Also, when I consulted with Esri Support analyst for Collector sync issue I was having, he said the relationship class in my database that did not use Global ID as primary key wasn't causing the issue. So I am confused whether it's a requirement or a recommendation to use Global ID as primary key, when creating relationship class for offline data collection.

Yes, you can upload your photos to AGOL (My content>Add Item>From My Computer) and then use its URL. But storing files on AGOL will cost you credits. If you have lots of photos, I recommend free options such as DropBox or Google Drive.

Collector can't access the data save on your personal computer via URL. Try enabling attachment for the layer and attaching images to the feature. FYI, hyperlinks don't work on iOS at the moment (*Hyperlinks in Collector (iOS) )

Is there a way to manually sync offline data collection to a hosted feature class? My client successfully tested syncing his offline data collection, so he went out and used Collector for a real inspection. But the real inspection would not sync(tried connecting to different network for faster Internet connection), so I ended up getting his SQLite database from his iPad, and appending it to the original SDE geodatabase that was used to publish the hosted feature class and then re-published feature service to AGOL. It was very time-consuming since the data contained GlobalID fields, which are assigned with new ID values when you append/load data. This broke relationships formed off the GlobalIDs that was originally assigned to it, such as related tables and attachments. I am wondering if there's a way I can sync replicas using REST API (ArcGIS REST API ) and the SQLite file.

Editing related tables via ArcGIS Online is not supported at the time. You can either do it in ArcMap or in ArcGIS Pro. In ArcMap, create a local copy of the feature service, edit, and sync your changes. In ArcGIS Pro, you can directly edit the feature service. Both ways don't work (well) if the data has Guid field due to an existing bug (BUG-000089105 ).

I read that archiving must be enabled on the datasets for preparing data for offline collection(ArcGIS Help (10.2, 10.2.1, and 10.2.2) ). If I am publishing a feature service to AGOL and not to an ArcGIS Server, do I still need to do this?
