Hello Brett Frahm, I agree, if you have a full enterprise base deployment then the webgisdr utility is likely the best option. The webgisdr utility creates a backup of portal, server and data store. The utility outputs one backup file which can then be used to restore each enterprise component. As you may have seen in the documentation if you want to create incremental backups you will need to enable point-in-time-recovery for the relation data store. Point-in-time-recovery can be enabled using the 'changedbproperties' data store command line utility. ArcGIS Data Store command utility reference—Portal for ArcGIS (10.8) | Documentation for ArcGIS Enterprise Thanks, Thomas.

Hello Marco Poetsch, If the portal item is secured you will be prompted for credentials in ArcGIS Online. ArcGIS Online makes requests to the ArcGIS Server service. If the service is from a federated server then security in controlled by portal. One option to not be prompted for credentials would be to use share as copy. Share as copy publishes a hosted feature service to ArcGIS Online. Therefore portal security is no longer involved. The second option would be to un-secure the portal item and enabled anonymous access for your portal organisation. About sharing feature layer and view data as copies—Portal for ArcGIS (10.8) | Documentation for ArcGIS Enterprise Outside of the collaboration if you are using gis tier authentication in portal you can add the service as an item to ArcGIS Online. This would give you the option to save credentials with the item and prevent the sign in prompt. Add items—ArcGIS Online Help | Documentation Thanks Thomas.

Hello David Horsey, You may also want to look into ArcGIS Server statistics. This functionality is mainly accessed through the ArcGIS Server manager statistics tab. It helps provide information regarding, total requests, average response time and timeouts. About server statistics—ArcGIS Server Administration (Windows) | Documentation for ArcGIS Enterprise Hope this helps. Thanks, Thomas.

Hello Cory, The points you mentioned would prevent you enabling sync on a feature service. You may want to take a look at the 'ExportTiles' operation. This operation lets clients export cache tiles. This may allow your application to export a copy of the map service tiles. ArcGIS REST API - Export Tiles Thanks, Thomas.

Hello Erica Tefft, After additional testing unfortunately I do not think it will possible to submit survey responses to collaborated survey shared as reference to ArcGIS Online. When you try to submit a response to the collaboration survey a request is made to the survey feature service. As you are signed in with ArcGIS Online credentials the Survey 123 Field App then appends an ArcGIS Online token. The ArcGIS Online token is not valid to access the ArcGIS Server feature service even if the service is unsecured. This causes the 'ApplyEdits' call to the ArcGIS Server feature service to fail. If you were to use share as copy it would not be possible to edit the collaborated hosted feature service. You can still collaborate the survey feature service to ArcGIS Online for other uses (e.g. viewing, web map editing). Thanks, Thomas.

Hello Erica Tefft, Thanks for the additional information. When you share an item as a reference from portal to ArcGIS Online access to the referenced item is controlled by portal security. For example if you open a secured portal item shared as a reference to ArcGIS Online you will be prompted for portal credentials. When signing into to the Survey 123 field app with a collaborated survey the field app may be trying to pass an ArcGIS Online token. If the collaborated survey is secured I believe the field app would also need to provide a portal token. This may be why you are receiving an invalid token error message. If possible as a test I would recommend sharing the survey publicly in portal. Is anonymous access enabled for your portal? I will also test this workflow and get back to you with results. Thanks, Thomas.

Hi Frank, Thanks for additional information, I would recommend disabling Windows Authentication at the 'Web Server' and 'Default Web Site' levels. Then test to see whether that effects the log in prompts. In most situations you would want to user either Windows Authentication or Anonymous Authentication but not both simultaneously. Thanks, Thomas.

Hello Frank Martin, I believe that prompt may be coming from IIS. I would recommend reviewing the authentication settings for the server and portal web adaptors in IIS. If Windows Authentication is enabled at the server web adaptor level this can cause additional login prompts in portal. When you are prompted what type of credentials do you provide (e.g. Windows)? Is Anonymous Authentication or Windows Authentication enabled at the following levels: Web Server? Default Web Site? Portal Web Adaptor? Server Web Adaptor? Thanks, Thomas.

Hello Becky Carr, You can edit the attribute table in a web map as long as the web map contains an editable feature layer. It is possible to edit the feature layers directly through the item details page, data tab. It is also possible to edit existing attributes through the edit widget. Unfortunately the current version of Web AppBuilder deployed with portal does not support editing attributes using the Attribute table widget. There is an existing ideas post which I've linked below. Web AppBuilder Edit in Attribute Table Web AppBuilder for ArcGIS - Attribute Table widget Portal for ArcGIS - About release versions Hope this helps! Thanks, Thomas.

Hello Farakh, If you are not able to run the describedatastore command I would also expect registerdatastore to fail with the same error message. It appears currently that you are not able to connect to ArcGIS Data Store. Can you verify that the ArcGIS Data Store Windows service is running? If running restart the Windows service. If the Windows service is running I recommend checking if the ArcGIS Data Store processes are running using Task Manager. Enable the 'Command Line' field in task manager. This will allow you to see which Enterprise component is related to each process. Data Store processes: ArcGISServer EXE Java(TM) Platform SE binary PostgreSQL Server If you are still unable to run the describedatastore command I would recommend creating a case with Technical Support to troubleshoot further. Thanks, Thomas.

Hello Farakh, It sounds like there is an issue with the relation data store. I would recommend running the 'describedatastore' utility. This returns status information regarding data store. Based on the error messages and the validation failures server may be unable to communicate with data store. Examples: Data store status Disk space available Data store mode Portal URL Owning system URL ArcGIS Data Store command utility reference Hope this helps! Thanks, Thomas.
