Adding my voice to this idea as it seems so odd that there is still no ability for Non-ArcGIS Pro users to create/upload a layer that is not Web Mercator. A lot of organizations just use ArcGIS Online but their clients request that data is captured in a certain coordinate system. They are unable to do this without ArcGIS Pro or without the workflow that @VHolubec describes. At the very least ESRI should make it so if you upload a file that you can choose to keep it in the coordinate system it is in.

There is currently no way to get labels with callouts or leaders lines in vector tiles published to ArcGIS Online. Providing this would allow for detailed labels with less conflicts. I have also gotten an Enhancement logged with support ENH-000143760. Here is my attempt with ArcGIS Pro 3.5 In Pro: In Vector Tiles:

Worked with ESRI support and my analyst said that what I'm asking for is working in 11.5, as my team is upgrading to 11.5 in December I will test this as soon as possible. Then I also got a BUG made: BUG-000180739

While testing Field Map Layer Filtering I noticed that if you use a field with a lot of unique values like an ID field, it does not seem to work as intended. I first tried searching for the ID then I tried scrolling, both attempts were unsuccessful(see images below). My best guess as to why it is not working, is that there is a hard limit to how many unique values there can be in the filter. If this is the case, I would like to request that the search in filter look beyond the limit of around 2800 unique values. Attempt at searching for ID Scrolled down as far as I could and it only went to around 2800 or so.

@ScottPrindle, @AllenDailey1 I believe all the requested functionality is possible with this method https://www.esri.com/arcgis-blog/products/arcgis-online/mapping/configure-search-maps-apps. Can we update the status on this post? Then as an FYI, I've also just added a new idea to request additional functionality that is related to this post's idea. https://community.esri.com/t5/arcgis-online-ideas/support-reference-enterprise-layers-in/idi-p/1662277

In Web Map Item Details->Application Settings->Enable Search By Layer, I am noticing that only ArcGIS Online hosted feature layers show up as an option to configure. I would like to request that reference ArcGIS Enterprise layers are also supported. To show that this is the case, here are all the layers in this map that are not showing up in the dropdown. Most of the layers in this map are from ArcGIS Enterprise that have been collaborated over to ArcGIS Online.

@EdwinNieuwland1 @AmyRoust I have created an idea asking for the pdf metadata to be sourced from the layout properties metadata here (https://community.esri.com/t5/arcgis-pro-ideas/source-pdf-metadata-from-layout-metadata/idi-p/1658046) if you'd like to check it out and add your support.

Similar to my previous idea: https://community.esri.com/t5/arcgis-pro-ideas/export-layout-accessibility-prefills/idi-p/1656726 I am using ArcGIS Pro 3.5.2 and I've recently started looking what ArcGIS Pro offers for exporting PDFs with accessibility metadata. For the "Accessibility" tab for the "Export Layout" tool with PDFs, I noticed that if I enter information in for the accessibility inputs in one project that it carries over what I input into other projects. Here is an example where the metadata parameters that were prefilled from another project. As an Idea: Instead of pre-filling the "PDF Metadata" parameters with previous filled information, I'd like it to be sourced from the Layout Properties Metadata. Title: Use Title from layout properties Language: Add a language metadata field to Layout properties Subject: Use Summary or add a Subject field to Layout properties Author: Use Credits from Layout properties or add an Author field to Layout properties Keywords: Use Tags from Layout properties or add a Keyword field to Layout properties

I am using ArcGIS Pro 3.5.2 and I've recently started looking what ArcGIS Pro offers for exporting PDFs with accessibility metadata. For the "Accessibility" tab for the "Export Layout" tool with PDFs, I noticed that if I enter information in for the accessibility inputs in one project that it carries over what I input into other projects. The reasoning behind this might make sense because ArcGIS Pro does this for all the other settings in the "Export Layout" so that you don't have to enter in the same settings every single time. It does not make sense for the "Accessibility" tab's "PDF Metadata" settings though as it will apply that Title, Keywords, etc to every layout I make which will 99% of the time have different titles and other metadata. If I had not realized it was doing this all my future PDFs would have a title of "Hole 1 Irrigation Utilities". Image below shows my inputs from a different project. As an Idea, I would like to request that the "Accessibility" tab's "PDF Metadata" inputs do not carry over from other projects. Force the user to fill them out each time to ensure that the correct information is being exported. As a note: I will also be creating another idea requesting that the layout properties be the place for you to store this information. I can't foresee a situation where a Layout would need to be exported with different tags each time it is exported so I don't know why it was decided to put these inputs in this tool vs. layout properties.

Oh yep you are right, that fixed it. I'll mark your original reply as the solution. I had hesitated earlier because when I first set it to white Pro showed essentially the whole area as white. The second time I tried it, Pro showed it as you described as did the PDF. Thank you!

Thank you for commenting! I've tried both of your suggestions without success unfortunately. @RTPL_AU, It seems that adding the hillshade to a group and setting the group to do the blending instead of the layer did not work, although maybe if we went with the route of transparency instead of blending we could get something useable. @Melissa_B, We were already using the Mask setting in symbology with NoData being set to no color(so not being colored), but I did mess with setting it to a color but as you can see in the attached image everything besides the raster is considered NoData so it is not going to work for us with blend mode etc.

I'd like to discuss the new export raster as single tile feature when exporting PDF layouts in ArcGIS Pro 3.5 and the issues surrounding raster content. There have be conversations about this in the past but I thought I'd start a new one now because 3.5 is out and my issue is specifically talking about Blend Mode. Here is the most active thread I have read through. Look through my notes and let me know if you've experienced the same issue I would love to hear from someone at ESRI about this behavior and the expected results. For reference here is what the release notes it states about the Export raster content as single tile setting: "You can use the Export raster content as a single tile option to avoid thin line artifacts between tiles of transparent raster, rasterized, and vector tile layers. These artifacts appear in some viewing applications for PDF and SVG exports." Original Issue: The original issue I was hoping this new setting would fix is the boundary of our raster poorly blending into our layers. We use Multiply blend mode with a hillshade raster that purposely only goes to the border of our parks so they pop-out in contrast to the surrounding neighborhood and other parks that our park district does not operate. Pdf attached with "_335" in the title shows this. The workaround to change Adobe Viewer settings that I've seen mentioned is not something that we can do as the maps are for public consumption. There are some other workarounds we've played around with such as using a line layer that goes on top of the blend layer that is the exact shape of the hillshade using raster domain. New Issue: Using Pro 3.5 I have just tried out the new export setting with the same layout and the result is rather strange and does not resolve "Original Issue" I mentioned earlier. The new issue is that the coloration is completely off from what it shows in ArcGIS Pro, that makes it unusable. See attached pdf with _35_rastersingletile" in the title to see this.
