I had the unfortunate experience of the server I run Utility Network off of tanking yesterday. I'm waiting for Esri tech support to get back to me, and in the meantime I'm standing up replacement services on another machine so we can get back to work. When I publish the UN Feature Service, I'm able to connect, but I don't see the existing branches. Looking at the relevant table in SQL Server Management Studio, I can see that the versions still exist, but they specify that they're related to the UN Feature Service that is currently out of commission. My question is: is there a way to access them from the new feature service? And if not, will I be causing new and more interesting problems by creating new versions off the new feature service? If I can't get the old service back up and running, I'll also have to figure out how to reconcile and remove the old versions, but I'll cross that bridge when I come to it. PS I know disaster recovery tools would have made this all much easier. It turns out my automated disaster recovery backup process had been failing for at least a month. So, PSA to check on your automated processes!

I had previously done it by adding World Geocoder as a server connection, and then adding that to the composite locator. Url is : https://geocode.arcgis.com/arcgis/services I had done that as recently as December of last year and it worked then. It's giving me trouble at the publishing phase for a new locator, though (service fails to start). Hopefully your experience is different.

Not being an Esri employee, I can't comment on how much work it would or wouldn't be. However, there's nothing stopping them from still using the XLS form. I'm picturing something much like what is already in place in the data design functionality (fields, domains, etc). Or better yet, why not make it so that the pick lists in forms just update with the existing Domains from the feature service they are pointed to? My larger point is that designing and working with Survey123 forms is shockingly divorced from the rest of the Enterprise/ArcGIS Online workflows that they're supposed to be tightly integrated with. Right now, I can make a Pro project that has a all the maps, layouts, reports, tools, etc, I need to set up and manage an enterprise-level workflow pretty much end to end. Survey123 is a glaring exception, and it would make sense if I could include any relevant forms in that same project.

It's nice to have the standalone Survey123 Connect app for users other than the core GIS Staff, but it would be very convenient to also have that rolled into ArcGIS Pro. The standalone app can occasionally cause IT headaches, especially since it's installed via the Windows app store instead of as a standalone install file. If it's in Pro, it would already be there and we can also associate surveys with a specific project.

Ok, it looks like I've answered my own question. Under the Site's settings, expand Interactions and turn "Embedded Apps" off.

We're working on creating a series of pages with Enterprise sites to create a more curated Portal experience for our end users. One of the key things I want to do is have a gallery of commonly used apps and dashboards that users can click on and view. The Gallery card seems like the logical choice. However, when I click on the items in the Gallery card, it always opens them up with a surround containing all the item info: Is there a way to turn this off? I'm not even sure why anyone would want this, let alone it being the default behavior. The users who need to see that will have training and experience navigating the regular Portal, and it just adds confusion and clutter for all other users. I know I can create custom HTML cards to handle the links, but I'd rather manage it via the standard options if I can. This is in Enterprise 11.1 I'm just getting my feet wet with Enterprise Sites, so apologies if I'm missing something obvious.

Even just the basics of retrieving information from a raster elevation/surface/etc, would be a huge step forward. Currently, it seems the only way to accomplish this is via a custom Javascript app. We have an old app that is sorely in need of updating. I've been pecking away at it in Javascript, but it would be great to just do it in Arcade from within the no code/low code app building tools.

I'm not getting the same timing issue, but I see similar behavior on 2023.3.1. It will lose connectivity to different server machines sporadically throughout the day, throwing an alert on "Connectivity - arcgis_server_discover ". This ends up sending me a bunch of Critical alerts (which still don't have a descriptive name) that make it hard to tell when I've got a real critical alert or not.

I agree, having it in Experience Builder vs the Instant Apps would be highly beneficial. The instant apps are good for some things, but they are frustrating to work with in the all-too-common situation where it meets almost all, but not quite all, of our needs for a particular application. It's even more frustrating when one particular functionality is available only in an Instant App and not Experience Builder. So instead of having the option to drop in the functionality in one app, we're forced to build two apps.

OK, so I tried Find Address Candidates instead, and that worked. It does spit out the Account field. I guess the trick is getting Experience Builder to see it.

Unfortunately, I get a 400 error: {

} I haven't done much testing of locators from the REST endpoint, so I'm not sure if it's something I'm doing wrong or an issue with my deployment. The trigger fields from the locator are supposed to be from the Outputs of the locator per the Experience Builder set up, but it may be using the term "output" differently than the Locator.

I'm experimenting with custom output fields in locators. The locator I create on desktop returns the field as expected. However, when I publish it as a locator service, the field is not returned (Enterprise 11.1). I don't see it as an option when configuring in experience builder, nor do I see it when I look in the rest endpoint. Is this functionality just not available? Or are there other steps I need to take? My end goal is to be able to search for our Utility Customers by address using our custom locator, then select the related asset based on the Account. Here it is in Pro: And absent in the config options in Experience Builder:

Hello, I'm working on an Experience Builder project in Enterprise 11.1 I really like the basic functionality of the Sidebar Instant App template, but I want to make use of the more advanced features from Experience Builder. I can't seem to figure out a way to get the popups displaying in a similar manner as Sidebar. The closest I've gotten is setting up a sidebar in the layout and putting a Feature Info card in. Where I get stumped is the Feature Info and List widgets only allow for one data source. I could keep adding additional Feature Info cards, but then I'm not sure how to make sure all the selected cards display and expand/contract dynamically with user input. Does anyone know a way to do this? Or is this functionality not available right now?
