I upgraded to ArcGIS Monitor 2025.0 from 2024.1.1 which went well but now I get an error message saying "Failed to retrieve license information". I downloaded a 2025.0 license from My Esri and the license authorized without error. I tried stopping and starting the ArcGIS Monitor Server service and re-authorized the license file but I am still getting the error. Anyone else getting this error after upgrading?

I did an upgrade from 11.4 to 11.5 this weekend on Windows Server 2022. The only issue I ran into was after uninstalling the 11.4 ArcGIS Portal IIS web adaptor and installing the 11.5 version my IIS service was stopped. That did not happen with the ArcGIS Server IIS web adaptor. @Scott_Tansley in regard to the enable admin access option being gone at 11.5, have you seen the "Allowed Admin Access IP's" on the ArcGIS Server Security Configuration page in the ArcGIS Server Administrator Directory? Maybe that could help you harden ArcGIS Server at 11.5. I have not used it, so I am not entirely sure how it works. https://developers.arcgis.com/rest/enterprise-administration/server/securityconfig/

Won't the Replace function create a new value of "225225"? Is the goal to remove the "I-" and just have a value of "225"? Could you just select all the features with a sign symbol of "I-225" and do a simple calculation of "225" as the new value?

We still store and use ArcGIS Pro project files saved locally on each computer with the data stored in ArcGIS Enterprise. If a change needs to be made to the to the ArcGIS Pro project file, I will make the change and provide copies for other users to put on their computer. We found trying to run project files from server file shares or worse OneDrive was much slower and had issues with file locks. This summer I will be looking into the new Portal Projects available with ArcGIS Pro 3.5 and ArcGIS Enterprise 11.4+. Here is a link to Esri's blog post about the Portal Projects: https://www.esri.com/arcgis-blog/products/arcgis-pro/administration/work-together-in-arcgis-pro-shared-update-groups-portal-projects

@RussRoberts did this functionality ever get added to the Field Maps roadmap? It has been 10 years since this post and being able to collect points while collecting a line is very much a real-world scenario for field data collection.

I have rarely seen Esri comment on ideas like this unless it is already under consideration by them in their roadmap. As mentioned earlier, this idea was originally posted to the community 10 years ago. The previous ArcGIS Collector idea only had 109 votes/10,281 views and this version for Field Maps is currently at 16 votes/516 views (as of 5/29/2025). Even though I think this idea is very much needed in ArcGIS Field Maps, without more votes I do not think the Field Maps team will give this much consideration. I know of another company that had this functionality in their software almost 15 years ago and I believe ArcPad did this as well. I would think if it was possible back then it should be doable now.

@CraigGillgrass we primarily use ArcGIS Enterprise, but I will take a look at the ArcGIS Online version when it is released. I am excited to be getting closer to moving our address data management to be a web based workflow.

Please add the ability to enable Sync for services that use the new data types date only, time only, timestamp offset, big integer, or 64-bit object IDs. Anything that we need to take offline or use with a distributed collaboration does not work if the service has any of those data types. These new data types were announced back in October 2023. We have been avoiding using the new data types, but ArcGIS Solutions is starting to use them and it limits how we can interact with the services in those solutions.

I am trying to clone some dashboards from ArcGIS Online to ArcGIS Enterprise 11.4 using clone_items. Some of the dashboards cloned successfully but several others failed with a "KeyError('dataSource')" exception. The dashboards that are throwing the error all have data expressions. Anyone know a way to fix the KeyError when cloning a dashboard?

Have you tried creating mobile views for the lower resolutions? https://doc.arcgis.com/en/dashboards/latest/reference/dashboards-on-your-smartphone.htm "When a dashboard with a mobile view opens, the device's screen size is used to load the optimal view of the dashboard. Esri has not yet posted any documentation for ArcGIS Enterprise 11.5, but it is supposed to be available this month. 11.5 is a long term release so there may be a new Utility Network version, but that does not always happen. The ArcGIS Pro 3.5 help documentation still mentions Utility Network version 7 as the latest version. https://pro.arcgis.com/en/pro-app/latest/help/data/utility-network/utility-network-compatibility.htm

A few months ago, we upgrade from ArcGIS Enterprise 11.3 to 11.4. Now in ArcGIS Enterprise our distributed collaboration with ArcGIS Online has the version number as 11.4.0, but in ArcGIS Online the ArcGIS Enterprise Version is still 11.3.0. How do I get ArcGIS Online to recognize the new version number without breaking our collaboration? Is ArcGIS Online limiting collaboration because it thinks ArcGIS Enterprise is running at 11.3?
