Unfortunately there's no Arcade community so this seemed like the best option 🙂 Our team would love an Arcade extension for VS Code to develop in. Some of our pop-ups get quite long and complicated and being able to work in VS Code to utilize version control and store backups of our Arcade outside of text files would be very useful, especially if we ever need to restore something that was accidentally removed from a web map.
Being able to save and load Arcade expressions would be great as well.
This would be a nice addition. For now, I just save my Arcade expressions as JavaScript, but obviously that does not help with the Esri-only functions.
Separately, Arcade and JavaScript (for Survey123 and elsewhere) built-in and other functions behave differently than what you would potentially expect, as well. I think this is generally on the road to improvement, but it would be nice to have everything standardized.
