I hope this delete button does nothing, but it is scary to me to have a delete action associated with the Default version. Please remove the delete button from the Default version settings menu.
@Joshua-Young I spoke to the Maps SDK for Javascript team who manages this widget and they'll look to address this for the next release of ArcGIS Enterprise, which would be 12.1.
This is a UI issue, the Delete button will not do anything against SDE.DEFAULT.
