Living Atlas does include a global live traffic service which includes information on current traffic conditions and things that may affect traffic, like construction. See the World Traffic Service item description for more details. Beyond the above, Living Atlas does not include current or completed highway/road construction projects. That information is best obtained from your local department of transportation. For example, if you were seeking information about California road construction projects, Caltrans would be the source for the best information.

It's been a very long while since I looked at Cascade. It's one of the "classic" Esri Story Maps and my best recommendation to you is to think to move forward and start using the new ArcGIS StoryMaps. There is an embed content block in those that will enable you to embed any application, or you can add a link to open the app. While the classic story maps will continue to work, they are in Extended Support. Everyone is encouraged to use ArcGIS StoryMaps, Esri's current-generation storytelling tool. The classic templates are no longer under active development and are not recommended for new projects. No further updates to their capabilities are planned. However, stories you have created using the classic templates will continue to be available. The above noted, to do this in Cascade I went back and authored this experiment: https://onlinelabs.maps.arcgis.com/apps/Cascade/index.html?appid=ba26ae3ca8df4fc8ba8903973ab4cc2d (remember to click the Explore button in the lower right to enable using the app within the story, or click expand to view it fullscreen) Embedding an app is easy. Add an Immersive section, click Add Media, then click the Link to content tab and add the URL to your swipe app, or any other app. Bern

Colors in chart elements have been supported since the June update. You'll see additional information the What's New post for June and also in this blog tutorial on using charts in pop-ups. The chart colors can't be independently changed, rather when using styles rendered using multiple attributes, chart element colors in pop-ups automatically match the style colors.

Editors can view and edit data in maps and apps. However, editors can't create or share items or data. See User types, roles, and privileges. To be sure, I just tested this with one of the members in my organization and verified that Editor user types cannot save maps.

Day/Night Terminator is a new layer item in ArcGIS Living Atlas that lets users include a visualization of the current day/night cycle in their maps and apps. Day/Night Terminator is updated every 10 minutes using the Esri Live Feeds Methodology and computes the approximate location of the Sun, perpendicular to the planet, using the current UTC date and time. For more information, see Introducing Day-Night Terminator.

Or, an easier way (assuming you're just doing text in a pop-up) might be to use an Arcade element. You have access to all the HTML formatting so making part of your text bold is easy, peasy.

@DanSmith27 I still had the custom role set up for my test user and just took a look at this using my home page. Only public content is visible to this user on my Home page after they sign in, or if I had shared only the content in their private group on the home page they would see that as well. No organization content is visible. This include groups. And to be clear, I am not opposed to this idea, just trying to find something you might find workable now.

@DanSmith27 It is possible to completely mask off a contractor or volunteer from all organization content by creating a custom role and placing the contractor in a private group with _only_ what you want that contractor to see and use in that group. I actually just prototyped this the other week for a non-profit that wanted to have a couple of volunteers as members in their org to use Survey123 but did not want them to see any other content within the organization. It does work (though with a couple of minor caveats WRT JSAPI 4.X and public sharing). Though I've not exercised all possibilities, this should cascade out to what's visible on the Home page and throughout the sharing /Online ecosystem. But public things are public, and always discoverable. I'll see if I can exercise this quickly on my ArcGIS Online Labs home page.

These are all good comments and suggestions, and this is not something new. Over the years (and in past products I've been involved with) we've looked into the potential for integrating Google Maps, including StreetView, more deeply into our products. The limiting factor is the Google Terms of Use (TOUs). Google limits the use of their imagery, StreetView, and other capabilities to within the Google ecosystem - specifically within the context of a Google map. Read the Google licensing for details, but the bottom line is that this is not achievable given the current use limitations. The situation is different for Bing imagery, which is licensable for use within ArcGIS Online and other Esri products. As for StreetView, several Esri business partners (Cyclomedia is one) offer similar capabilities and more, though with additional cost. Because of these limitations, I'm marking this idea as Closed. Not because I, and many others, wouldn't find this favorable, but because it's just not possible at this time.

It's not supported across all styles. The ones that do support it are the predominant category and predominant category and size, and charts and charts and size. And with those, the chart element colors are automatically set to match the style - you can't change them. Chart color customization is on the to-do list, but TBD when that might happen.

Basemaps are the foundation for your layers and while there are plenty to choose from in the default basemap gallery and others to choose from Living Atlas, you can also create your own. Two blogs from Andy Skinner, cartographic designer on the Living Atlas team, explain how. Build your own sandwich shows how you can use the Vector Tile Style Editor (VTSE) to start with an existing vector tile basemap and customize it. Map Bases: Mixing it up also covers VTSE, but adds blending and another option to achieve your desired result. Once you've created your custom basemap, here's how to add them to a custom basemap gallery for your organization.

I updated this blog article not long ago to include charts with colors. You can't independently change chart colors in pop-ups but depending on how you have styled your layer, the chart element will match the style color. https://www.esri.com/arcgis-blog/products/arcgis-online/mapping/configure-pop-ups-charts/ It seems I've forgotten to add a link to the sample map in the blog article and I will go back and do that. But here's the direct link - just make the "charts with colors" layer visible and hide the other layers and you'll see the results. https://www.arcgis.com/apps/mapviewer/index.html?webmap=e1669785533b45eb906c20cab4fb9baa
