For some reason the app is not writing the user input value to the feature. - Did the device crash, was the project closed, or, was the line ended by the user using the project button? - Was this a project or button user input? - What QuickCaptue app version and operating system are you using? - Could you share the project and target layer with the QCCreator user (via a group). We can see if we can repro. Thanks John

Although the preview does not rotate while you are taking a photo, you should see the captured photo rotated once it has been taken. If not, you should check whether Portrait Orientation: Lock is enabled for the phone. If it is, you need to disable it.

Hi Zac, if the user is able to submit features it is unlikely to be a permissions error. It sounds like they may have an older version of the project, that does not include the new target fields or device variables. There is a setting in the designer that enforces the automatic update of projects. You will need to sign in as an ArcGIS user that is an administrator and you will see organization settings: Once the user closes the project, it should automatically update. However, as the user is outside of your organization this setting will not work for them. Unfortunately, there is no way to automatically force project updates if the user is in another organization. @PeterORegan Firefox will play the file in the browser. However, other browsers (such as Chrome) will result in the file being downloaded as you described. This is a limitation of the .MOV format used on iOS devices.

Hi @jabrams - This behaviour results from the fact that the 'confirm location' option results in certain variables being cleared, even if the user does not manually update the location. I'll link this post to the issue we have open for it. I hope this helps. Thanks John

@jabrams I tested on an iPhone XR 16.3.1 and could not reproduce the issue. Could you share the project and layer with a group and invite the user: QCCreator to it? I'll check if this is a project related issue.

It sounds like the project is pointing to a field that has been deleted from the feature service. The safest thing to do is to add the 'SourceType' field back to the feature service and then try to re-submit the records from the mobile app. Adding new fields to the feature service will not cause any issues when submitting records from QuickCapture. Hi @DavidMurray_ODWC Apple made changes to the way voice commands work from iOS 16 onwards. To continue to support voice comands in future versions of QuickCapture, we had to make some updates that were not backward compatible with iOS 14 and iOS 15. In order to get the best user experience, users will need to use iOS 16 and above. Thanks John
