Michael, If I understood the post correctly, that's what the OP did in ArcMap and it worked fine, but the ArcGIS Online web map filtering system is set up a little differently. Based on the drop down options (is, is not, starts with, ends with, contains, does not contain, is blank, is not blank) I'm not sure how you would implement an IN statement. I could be wrong though? I know there is still much that I have to learn. If you know how to do this in ArcGIS Online, that would really be a help to both me and the OP!

The reason the first one you tried didn't return any results is because it looks like it's set up as an "And" statement. You want to make sure that the word "or" shows up in the view. Example: This is what the edit view looks like for that: What does your edit view look like?

The link you provided appears to be broken so I wasn't able to look at the dataset. However, I think you could you achieve this in AGO using sets. This will group the criteria. So under the edit tab, check "add set". For the dropdown of the set, choose "Any of the following expressions in this set are true". This creates "OR" statements. You would have a set for the town name and the housing type. Does that achieve what you are looking for?

Hello, I published a hosted feature layer with ArcMap that includes a point, line, and polygon layer for field data collection. This layer has worked fine in Collector Classic for data collection, and there is no issue in Classic with being able to tap the feature to view its attributes/pop up or to edit the feature. However, this is not the case in the New Collector. In this case, once you submit a feature, you are unable to select or edit anything in the layer. This behavior has happened in several different web maps that are used offline. The user that is trying to edit the data is a Creator user type with a Publisher role. I also confirmed that editing is enabled for the feature layer where editors can add, update or delete features. Any idea what could be causing this behavior? Thanks in advance for any input!

Weird, I'm not sure why adding a field to your layer in Pro would cause you to lose all of your other fields? Maybe I'm not understanding correctly? In order to populate a field in the survey (i.e. Asset_ID) from information from the feature in Collector, you'll need to use a custom attribute display. Example (put this in the "link" portion of the custom attribute display): arcgis-survey123://?itemID=36ff9e8c13e042a58cfce4ad87f55d19&field:surname={name} You can read more about it in the link I referenced before.

Hi Ronald, To add to what Joe said, I believe using the custom URL scheme is the best way to do this workflow right now. I used this help page to figure out how to do it for my surveys: https://doc.arcgis.com/en/survey123/reference/integratewithotherapps.htm You've got the right idea - create a new field called "Survey Link" (or whatever you want. Just make sure obviously it's a string type and has a long character limit!) and use field calculator to make the value equal to the URL. Will you want all features to have the same link? If so, that's pretty simple. It is possible to customize the link to autopopulate parts of the survey, but that gets a little more complicated. As for which platform to do it in, you can do it either in Pro/ArcMap or ArcGIS Online. However, my personal recommendation is to do it in Desktop first if possible, since I've had better luck with the field calculator there! I like that you can use Python scripting to calculate fields with Desktop - I don't think AGOL has that functionality yet. Let us know how if you need more help!

I'm not completely sure, but it's a good guess that not having the .prj file is why you're having trouble with ArcGIS Online...did you set a spatial reference to the layer(s) in ArcMap? If not, I would suggest doing that and then try publishing again....does that work?

Hmmm.....personally, when I experience weird behavior like this, I find the simplest solution is just to try starting over. Just like the stereotypical IT troubleshoot suggestion..."Did you try turning it off and on again?" Why don't you give that a shot (I would suggest giving it a different title and don't delete the original one, just in case). I don't think the logging out part should matter, but nonetheless. Worth a shot. Also one thing to keep in mind, building tiles in AGOL consumes credits, so make sure you have enough to build all of the tiles. Let me/us know how that goes. Of course, you can always try what Alan suggested (below) and open a tech support case for more formal and professional help with this issue. Good luck!

What does it say when you click on "Show current tile details"? For example: Sometimes large tile layers can have hundreds of thousands of tiles. It may take hours to build all of them.

So, this might seem like a really stupid question, but have all the tiles finished building in AGOL?

Hi Alan, In ArcGIS Online, you'll want to go to the item details page and export the updated layer to the data format of your choice. Once this is downloaded to your device, you can pull it into ArcMap. You can then either just incorporate this updated layer into your map, or possibly use the Append tool to join it with the existing layer. Would this achieve what you're hoping to do? Hope that helps!

Strange, I haven't noticed this behavior with the web maps I've done this on...does it only happen for certain web maps for you or all of them?

Yeah, I noticed that shortly after I responded to this post. Seems like Esri is looking into it. Thanks!
