Prior to the summer 2026 ArcGIS Online update it was possible to add dynamic text and therefore HTML to no data and no selection parts of many elements, including Lists and Charts. This has seemingly been removed during the 2026 summer update, and has caused many of our public facing dashboards to go from looking quite slick to now looking pretty unpolished (see attached screenshots as an example).
This esri blog from 2024 actually covers the exact workflow of adding html to no data and no selection parts: https://community.esri.com/t5/arcgis-dashboards-blog/dashboards-that-pop-no-selection-no-problem/ba-...
Can this functionality be reinstated asap please? I can't think of a reason why this has been removed (the ability to add dynamic text and html has been kept for other parts of elements).
@MartinCopping is there any chance you could provide an update on this? It's quite a big issue for us (and others I suspect judging by the kudos). Many thanks
