So, I really don't know anything about web development coding (trying to learn), but I did find this HTML snippet by using the Developer Tools in Google Chrome. Is the screenshot you provided an example of a public web app created by someone else? My guess is that there is custom code involved which could be implemented with WAB Developer Edition. I don't know of any tab functionality "out of the box" in WAB.  ... View more

Erika,  I was running into the same thing, and came across this thread during my research. I know it's a bit late, but since this question is still marked as "unanswered" I wanted to share what was taught to me in the hopes of helping you or anyone else who reads this blog post in the future. Colin Lawrence‌ responded to me and said: "The message you are seeing is more of a result and not an error message. You will see several of these come back in the logs when a download fails, but you will want to scroll a little further until you find the error message.If you are having trouble locating it, sometimes its easy to clear the logs first so you are not seeing older messages. Use the trash icon in the top right on the logs page and then reproduce the download failure again. Again you might have to scroll through some of the exploded map file messages, but your error should be in there." So, you would need to identify the actual error message before doing any other troubleshooting. Hope that helps   ... View more

Ah ok, thank you. After clearing out the log as you suggested and attempting to download again, I found two error messages, both stating "unable to support duplicate feature layers".  I didn't actually create the web map, so I didn't realize at the time that one of the layers is actually just a copy of the other one. I assume now that is what is causing the issue, and copied layers are not supported for offline use? However, why would I still be able to successfully download in Collector Classic? Were copied layers supported in that version of the software? ... View more

C‌olin, I tried to download another map today and the same situation happened (worked in Collector Classic but not the new Collector). Using the Developer logging tools, I see the following message: [OFFLINE] Found and Exploded Map Package at: file:///private/var/mobile/Containers/Data/Applications/....... (longer path) Any insight on what this could mean? As far as I know, not through an Esri supported service. However, you can try using the open-source unsupported "ArcGIS Online Assistant" https://ago-assistant.esri.com/ .   I've had decent success with it, though it does have its limitations. Absolutely! It would be great if the category selectors functioned the same way as a typical filter, which would allow for 'contains' and 'does not 'contain'. The way it is now is a huge setback for Operations Dashboard.  ... View more

Randy, that's a fantastic workaround! I really appreciate you sharing.  I'm not completely sure that workflow can apply to my specific project because I have more than two categories. Right now, if I load categories based on what is in the field I want to filter, it looks like this:  But I want it to look like this:  (this was a "cosmetic" fix only, the filter doesn't actually work) Basically, I want it to work as a regular filter, where I can check "Marsh", and any feature that includes the word "Marsh" in that attribute would display, etc. But I just can't get it to function properly.  Anyway, thanks again for sharing your wisdom, I really like your thinking on that one.   ... Colin, Thank you so much for the detailed response, that is extremely useful to know exactly what goes on with the layers. Unfortunately, I can't seem to open the "Developer" options using the steps you described.   I'm probably just missing something obvious...would you be able to provide a screenshot? So, you added a new field, and then filled out that attribute for two of the features to say "Domestic" and "Long Term"? Then how did you filter through the dataset? While we have encouraged our field users to familiarize themselves with the new Collector app, we have also strongly suggested that they keep both versions of Collector on their devices, since issues like this seem to be unpredictable and not even always reproducable on other devices. Definitely a bit frustrating, but I guess there are still just a few kinks to work out with the new software?
