While we have encouraged our field users to familiarize themselves with the new Collector app, we have also strongly suggested that they keep both versions of Collector on their devices, since issues like this seem to be unpredictable and not even always reproducable on other devices. Definitely a bit frustrating, but I guess there are still just a few kinks to work out with the new software? I still haven't been able to figure out exactly why the map didn't download in new Collector.

Dan, So that others may also learn from your post, could you explain what you were doing wrong? I am trying to do something similar with my Dashboard and am running into issues. I'd be interested to hear what you ended up doing to fix your situation, Thanks, Katherine

Hi Randy, I'm trying to do almost the exact same thing with my Dashboard. Did you ever get this figured out?

Hello, I am wondering if there is a way in ArcGIS Online to highlight multiple features from different layers when a single feature is selected? For example, I have several points within different HUCS. When the point is selected, I would like the HUC that it is in to be highlighted as well. I'm sure this is possible using Javascript, but I have almost no experience with that so I was hoping there is a way to configure this in the GUI. If this isn't possible and custom code is needed, any suggestions are appreciated! Thanks!

Yes, this would be a very helpful feature that would make the filter widget much more user friendly! It's particularly needed when you have many filter options available so that they don't all fit in the window without having to scroll.

I am also looking for a way to do this. Any thoughts or revelations on the subject? Thanks! Edit: Just found this on the ideas page - https://community.esri.com/ideas/15521-wab-filter-widget-clear-all For anyone who sees this, make sure to "up-vote" the idea!

In 2019, I am encountering this issue as well. I tried resizing the window and no luck....any other thoughts? I am trying to create a web app with my new Enterprise account. I have worked with ArcGIS Online for over a year but this is my first attempt working with Enterprise, so perhaps I am missing something? There also seems to be an issue where the pop-ups don't inherit any of the configurations I made in the web map.

I like this! If it's not already possible, it sounds like a good thing to post to the "Ideas" section of Geonet.

As many people have already stated, it would be extremely helpful to at least have the option to order the pop ups, even if this might result in slower performance. I have already voted on the idea posted here: https://community.esri.com/ideas/6548 but I'm hoping that so many people stressing this point will get Esri's attention. Thank you!

Kylie Donia Hello, I still have not heard any thoughts on this issue, and I was wondering if you could help? You seem to be very knowledgeable about Collector based on other threads I've seen. Or if there is someone else who you think could help could you direct me to them? Thank you so much!

Joe Borgione Kelly Gerrow After reading through several internet resources on SQL syntax and this entire thread, I found that the nested syntax finally worked. All I wanted to do was the very simple task like the OP, to calculate a new field by combining strings from two other fields, separated by a space. This is the expression that finally worked for me: CONCAT('code', CONCAT(' ', 'desc1')) Where code and desc1 are both field names that contain strings. As someone who is working very hard to learn Python as well as keeping track of SQL vs Arcade syntax, I find it fairly confusing and frustrating to constantly be switching between these different languages for expressions. Between ArcMap vs. ArcGIS Online, labels vs. field calculator, etc it seems that there is no consistency. Is there a reason why there needs to be such variation in languages used for expressions? Would it be possible to use Arcade or Python to calculate fields in ArcGIS Online (considering you use Python to calculate fields in ArcMap), or is there a reason it has to be SQL for ArcGIS Online? Anyway, thanks for listening.

Just out of curiosity, why would using incognito help in this case? What was causing the issue? Thanks!
