The feature layer has many points with the same Artist name, and different dates. I want a single link for the artist, and the map automatically takes you to the current location depending on the current date. I am trying to use URL parameters along with a filter on a Webapp. ...&find=Test%20Artist https://webmaps.sandiego.gov/portal/apps/webappviewer/index.html?id=e05946e66cf24272af5dd779195317ff&find=Test%20Artist In firefox it works great. The find results are filtered and the correct location is returned, tomorrow it will zoom to a different location. In Chrome the filter is ignored when using the URL parameters, so the map zooms to the wrong location. How do I get chrome to behave the same as firefox? If you do a search in the search widget the correct location shows up. Any thoughts how how to fix this? Thank you

Working on an issue with an incorrectly displayed time field. I need to a field from a rest service to UTC to get the correct date/time (below should be 7/10/2020 12:00am). I don't own the rest service or I would just change it there. I have tried to use arcade, but because of the way I am building the pop-up, I am getting issues with the calculation. Any help would be great, thank you!

Hi @ecmason, My suggestion is to have two date fields (local time) and (UTC) It's a little clunky as AGOL and Portal converts on the fly. The initial data can have it's time zone set when publishing, however the append tool ignores that setting. (my guess is the date is converted to UTC when published) It also depends what environment your viewing the data in. The two images below are the same published table with two date fields (UTC and local time) First open in AGOL or Portal the UTC field is correct and the sweep_date (local time) is incorrect. Second the AGOL / Portal table pulled into ArcPro, now the UTC field is incorrect and the sweep_date (local time) is correct. If the data will only be viewed in AGOL / Portal use the "Convert Time Zone" tool to convert the time from local time to UTC. Then use the Append Tool to add it to the AGOL / Portal layer If the data may be used in both AGOL / Portal and ArcPro have two date fields to avoid confusion. Hope this helps.

Hi @TanuHoque you are correct. The pop-up information is the most important. I am sure no one would mind if there was a way to also include a map thumbnail

Thank you @RobertScheitlin__GISP, I did not I could subtract the width of the header from the view dev height. Thank you again, and I will spend some time breaking down your code, it looks much cleaner then what I had. height: calc(100% - 44px); I added a fork to codepen to help anyone in the future with the issue. https://codepen.io/rbohan/pen/mdqWyOE

I am working on copying the look of the "Header Controller" for a webapp. The simple title bar with a logo. I am new to html and am sure there is an easy solution for this. The issue I am running into, if I had the header to the webpage, the map section is slighter larger then the display page. (see scroll bar on image below) If there is a better way to add a title and logo, more then happy to switch. https://codepen.io/rbohan/pen/MWOJOEE

Hi @TanuHoque I would be happy to share arcade expressions we would like to print. I provided two examples below. The arcade in both create a very powerful pop-up, the in second example it’s possible to return up to 800 records. Thank you for you time, and more then happy to talk about it more, and I am by no means a arcade or JavaScript expert. The first example was created by a Senior GIS Analyst called Zapp. Each pop-up run about 70 arcade expressions (taking 15-60 seconds). The pop-up is the results of many arcade expressions, mostly geographic Intersects with other Feature Sets. Previously this was a manual process taking between 15-30 minutes for each location. Being able to print this pop-up as a pdf is a popular request, the current work flow includes copy and paste into a separate document to save. Zapp Basic Print Testing for geonet https://codepen.io/rbohan/pen/dyZXOYQ?editors=1010 Zapp webapp https://www.arcgis.com/apps/webappviewer/index.html?id=3057676023954a828ad92ef22b5ff349 Pop-up grid of approximately 70 expressions Sample arcade expression The second is a historical permit pop-up The final webmap is still in development, I’ll attached the arcade below for the public rest service When a parcel is selected that APN number is used to filter the Historic Records rest service. The pop-up is to group the results by ProjectID, JobID, and AppID It’s a one to many relationship. Each ProjectID can have multiple JobIDs. Each JobID can have multiple AppIds. A series of nested for loops are used to build the pop-up which returns 0-800 records Pseudo arcade below, see attachments for full arcade logic For ProjectID{ For JobID{ For AppID{ //Add values to string } } } Return entire string Thank you, Ryan

@Jianxia Thank you Jianxia that makes my day. @TanuHoque Thank you for the print reports link. I will check it out. To follow up with Brittany's comment the way my API demo "prints" by passing everything from a webmap pop-up contents to a new webpage and load the browser print function. This includes any arcade logic, images and graphs in the pop-up. Can a print service include arcade calculated values?

Sad to read this is no longer being considered as an enhancement to model builder. It is something I would have used heavily as module builder can be set up quickly. And is much easier to explain to a non-power user then "open python" copy this script and just modify where needed.

Exciting to hear printing is coming soon! If I am reading this correctly it will print everything on the layout, even scrollable pages. Pop-ups or the the Feature Info widget are commonly requested to be able to export/print easily. I hope printing fires up the web browsers print function, which would allow us to print, and also export to PDF. I have been chasing this with the Javascript API https://codepen.io/rbohan/pen/mdMZbdp Can't wait!

I would love to easily be able to interpolate missing Date(s) with the Fill Missing Values (Space Time Pattern Mining) Tool. The Fill Missing Values tool works great for things like missing pipe diameters. I can easily run the tool and fill in missing values based on what is nearby. However the tool does not seem to be able to fill in dates. Currently I have a rather janky work around. Converting dates to numbers and then back. Convert date to a number in a new field using the Convert Time tool yyyyMMdd 12/15/2004 --> 20041215 Use the Fill in Missing Values tool on the "dates" now stored as a number In a field calculation return dates formatted as date Do some arcade to get 20041215 into a format the Date function likes "yyyy,MM,dd" Be sure to subtract one form the months field 20041215 --> 2004,11,15 return Date(2004,12,15) This will return the date(s) including those filling in with the Fill in Missing Values tool Use the Convert Time Zone, if necessary Would love to just be able to run the Fill Missing Values tool and fill in the missing dates

I am trying to set up a model to make use of a related table, and make a section in one table and use what is selected in the other table. Two tables: Routes (only route names and numbers) Route_Segments (many segments make up a route, each segment has unique attributes) Outside of model builder I can make a relate between the two tables. Select by attribute from the Route_Segments then use "Related Data -> Routes" to show the related attributes. All the selected Routes that contain a Route_Segments the previous selection (using select by attibute) will be selected. From there I can do a field calculation to update the Routes table, that one of it segments contains the attribute I am looking for. It's a binary field, and I only need to know if any segments of the Route contain that value. The Route_Segments attributes change through out the year, so it would be nice to have a model scheduled to run monthly/quarterly to keep the Routes layer up to date.
