Hi Bruce, Great idea, I will check if we have any Data Interoperability licenses available. Only updating changes sounds much cleaner process, and will improve time on the larger datasets.

Hi Kory, Thank you for the quick response, we are on portal 10.8.1 and have previously ran into a bug after 4-6 weeks of a daily overwrite that completely corrupts a hosted feature layer. We believe this has been fixed in 10.9.1 however while in the works, the upgrade will take us a while. https://support.esri.com/en/bugs/nimbus/QlVHLTAwMDEzMTM2Ng== Thank for the tip on the Truncate Table Tool, sadly "This tool does not support a feature service layer as input." until Pro 3.0. With some Pro 3.0 files not being backwards compatible, as an organization we will need to plan the upgrade careful to bring everyone up to Pro 3.x at the same time.

Combine Delete Rows and Append tools to make a single Overwrite tool to be used in ModelBuilder. (a no code solution) For background I have a Hosted Feature Layer, that is overwritten daily. The data is coming from a CSV that gets processed in ModelBuilder. 1st Delete Rows removes all records from the Hosted Layer 2nd Append the Hosted_Feature_Layer with the processed Feature_Layer_Temp Every time the model runs the entire Hosted Feature Layer is refreshed with new data from the processed CSV. The Hosted Layer id stays the same, so no need to reconfigure anything consuming he layer. The only downside is the ObjectID increased every time the model is run. I would love to see the Delete Rows and Append combined in a single Overwrite tool. Perhaps improving the ObjectID issue.

There are some very cool features in fieldmaps, like the new geofencing. However the lack of a browser / desktop options leads me to usually recommend using survey123, unless something unique with fieldmaps is by the field crew.

Very exciting to here about the new geofencing abilities. For future enhancements is there a chance to get get a desktop/web version of fieldmaps. Some users would like to use fieldmaps on their surface tablet. To which I have to explain that is small computer and unable to run fieldmaps, they can either use a phone, or purchase a tablet.

I am experiencing the same problem in AGO new dashboard. The Category Selector does not change a heat map, it will only change points. It appears to be a known bug https://support.esri.com/en/bugs/nimbus/QlVHLTAwMDEzOTUyMA== The crazy thing is it does work in Enterprise 10.8.1 Can we please add back the ability to include a heatmap in dashboard. It makes stacked points much easier to see.

Thanks for the suggestion, I am still getting the error. It appears if the first row is <null> that is when the error happens. I am using ArcPro 2.9.2 I am pulling in a csv, and exporting the table to gdb Current work around is adding in a dummy row of values.

I am trying to use Count() for a simple count of a string in a text field in a feature table in Pro. It should be as simple as Count(fieldname) Error Works on another field Both are text fields

I am surprised SVG are not supported in AGO or Enterprise Portal. If I was digitizing a road of course I would use a vector format so it would look good at any scale. Why can't I use vectors for the symbology?

Great question. First you need to generate the URL with an arcade expression. I am using longitude instead of the employee id Then add a link, with the arcade express as the URL If you want the image to automatically show in the pop-up you can the source html with something like this

A published hosted feature is a great way to organize data, as all layers and tables are contained in a single hosted layer. However I have ran into two issues: Sharing is universal, all layers/tables are shared at the same level If you don't want to share one or more layer/table at the level of the entire service. The entire service will need to be republished to remove that layer. To add a new layer or table also requires republishing This makes maintenance to a pubic webapp/ dashboard tricky. Republishing means some parts of the app will need to reconfigured and tested which results in downtime. If the layers are published independently updating the Share status, is three mouse clicks..

Thank you for calling it a backtick. I hate to say how long I spent trying to use a single quote to get an sample arcade to run. If your looking for it the backtick ` is top left on most keyboards

This has been driving me nuts all morning. My model works just fine, if I manually click run, if I schedule it, it fails. I tracked it down to the same error 000358.
