As a side note, we do not certify the tools and solution on 3.4 since it is not a long term utility network release. If working with the Utility Network, we would suggest using 3.3 with the latest patches.

Brian, I tested tracing with digitized direction across associations. I am not seeing an issue. Here are two examples, lower one has a controller at the start also tested going through a directional terminal device, no issue Red Arrow is a directional terminal device

Def get the issue logged. One note, if a line is contained in a point. In diagram space, that line is collapse and with be completely in that container. Just something to consider. An attachment point on the line that is contained in that Structure Junction might be a better option if you are going to use diagrams.
