Kind of low tech but anything with a URL list could work. Maybe an Excel sheet hosted in Office 365 that you update in the office (copy or script it) then they have this excel on their tablet and launch from there. Or a Word doc or even a sharepoint page. You can also host a CSV in AGOL that you both access. I am assuming you need offline here otherwise if online can just use AGOL in a browser.

I turn off editing on the layer in the web map. There is a setting for that in old map viewer at least. But they can still make their own map from the feature service or use Pro to get around that. There is no real full way to do it since allowing editing well allows editing.

I understand but I was hoping when I registered the view with the geodatabase it could pick these up.

Sorry been out. I am seeing it when there is a group in the map it thinks its an imagery layer? In Map Viewer In Excel the group lists as an imagery layer. It is when trying to add from a map not a feature service. Not sure what is up there.

Try this with a map that has a group and you will see it.

We have the same issue it keeps using alphabetical and ignores our field order which we spent a ton of time on. Even when using Layer settings. We found that if you flip to customize it then goes back to DB field order. This is really the opposite of what it should do. Where is the world is alpha even coming from? No Arc product has ever done that. Then is you use the select tool and then view in table those results it yet again goes back to alphabetical sometimes. Just so inconsistent. Please take out alphabetical everywhere to fix this for good. DB order is what we will always want. Also if more than 50 fields you have to turn them on manually.

Have a simple view that combines two layers using Union. SQL server is the SDE backend. Both layers match exactly and have friendly alias field names with spaces. My view completely dropped the alias values on the view. There is no way to edit them either. I see similar posts but nothing for exactly this. My guess is I am out of luck but wanted to check before we do a big workaround (like add them in Pro then publish the service even though we really want then in the SDE).

I ran into this today also. We have a database view combing two layers with a union and we lose all the nice friendly field alias names we spent a ton of time on. Also Living Atlas requires friendly names so now we can't add to the atlas. Would be sweet to bring them over.

Yes it got added. Add multiline to appearance. One question, multiple photos If you want users to submit more than one photo with your survey, you can either add multiple image questions or alternatively use the multiline appearance on an image question. There are good cases for both approaches. For now, lets start with the multiline appearance: type name label appearance geopoint location Incident location image photo Incident photos multiline Support for the multiline appearance for image questions was added in version 3.10. When using the multiline appearance you will initially not see much of a difference in your form. However, after you take the first photo, you will see that new options appear for you to take additional photos and navigate through all the photos you have taken. I get it, we just happen to have one that is 1.2 million and almost makes it. So then my next question is can I somehow add a query? We have a national dataset but we do want to make one file per state to get around the limit and to make it faster. But I have to add all the data before I can filter in excel and then I hit the limit. Hope that makes sense. I am hoping not to have to make 12 maps each with a state filter.

First image is map viewer yes. It does that when you bring in the entire service at once on its own. Second image I think I get no + symbol if the source is a map. If there are no groups maps work to add.. Looks like you are adding form a feature service?
