Hello, After installing ArcGIS Maps for Office, I am able to sign-in through Excel no problem, but the option to sign in with PowerPoint is grey-out. Anyone else have this issue? Thanks!

Thanks Xander Bakker, That didn't work, but I'm not sure I could tell you exactly why. Popup wants to return "no results..." even when there are intersecting features. I don't think I'll be going that route anyway, since the address result losses relevance once it's that far away. Returning a coordinate or a message is probably more effective in that case. Either way, it's informative to see how you would nest that logic. I haven't seen a lot of examples like that, so thank you! Based upon your comments, I assume that performing multiple buffers and intersects is still less performant than returning and calculating distance for a 100-200 (or even 1000) feature list?

Hi Xander Bakker, Do you have any suggestions as to how I might iterate the addresses chain, so that it grows the buffer if the cnt is less than 1? I've tried a couple of loops and if then statements, but the logic seems circular. Is this possible? Are there any examples you know of that could serve as a guide? Thanks!

Thanks David Ström, I was able to get it running correctly by moving the Raw DEM, the AGREE Stream, and my target locations to the C drive. I also started a new .mxd and made sure the DEM and the AGREE Stream were in the same coordinate system, but I'm pretty sure moving to C: was the ticket. Thanks for the reply!

David Ström, Did you ever figure out what was causing this? I'm having a similar issue all of a sudden, seemingly only with one particular DEM.

Thanks Xander Bakker, that works great! I was struggling with that last bit.

Hello! I have a web map with a point layer representing manholes and a point layer representing addresses. I am attempting to create an Arcade expression that will display the nearest address point in the popup of a selected manhole. I'm trying to do this by creating a buffer around the selected manhole, calculating the distance of each address point intersecting the buffer, and returning the address of the nearest address point. No matter how I format the code below (I won't get into everything that I've tried ), I do get one address point, but it is neither the nearest or the farthest manhole. I have tried sorting, ordering, and using compare functions for the intersecting address points, but I don't seem to have access to the distance value in order to grab the closest one. Can anyone tell me if I'm going about this the right way or if this is even possible? Thanks in advance!!! var searchDist = 200;
var addresses = Intersects(FeatureSetById($map, "Primary_Address_3482"), Buffer( $feature, searchDist, "feet"));
var cnt = Count(addresses)
Console("Total Number of addresses within buffer: " + cnt);
var nearestaddress;
for (var f in addresses){
var addressDist = Round(Distance(f, $feature, "feet"),2);
Console(f.FULL_ADDR + ": " + " " + addressDist)
}
f.FULL_ADDR

Hi Amber Lauzon, It looks like FeatureSet functions are not supported yet, but are awaiting release? Are the Arcade FeatureSet functions supported in Collector? seems to reference similar issues with FeatureSet functions in Collector/Survey123. Maybe Peter Klingman can confirm a timeline for release?

Hi Ismael Chivite, thanks for the reply. I am using ArcGIS Pro 2.4.0 with Chrome. The process works great for me (in my own project) as long as I don't create feature templates in Pro before publishing the web layers for the first time and ignore the feature template set warnings; letting AGOL create them for me from my symbology. If I address the warnings and create feature templates in Pro before publishing for the first time, QuickCapture doesn't seem to recognize the feature template and I get a blank project. When I download your Bike Trails mpkx and publish it with the feature templates, QuickCapture has no problem recognizing the features. This isn't preventing me from using quick capture, but I'm curious as to what I may be doing (or not doing) to get this different behavior. Thanks!

I get an unresponsive configuration page, settings button, and JSON editor buttons when I publish the web layers from Pro with feature templates. If I delete the feature templates for all layers in Pro before publishing, it seems to resolve the issue. Can anyone expand on that? This can be confusing since Pro throws a warning when publishing web layers without feature templates. Great app! Looking forward to using it in the field! Peter

Hi Doug Browning, The file question will show up as a note in Survey123 and Survey123 Connect. However, if you publish anyway and open the survey in a web browser, you will see the result as shown below, with the ability to upload a file. You can enforce opening the survey in a web browser by configuring the url as mentioned in the post above from Doug Parent The file question is just not supported in the Survey123 or Survey123 Connect Apps

This is great functionality! Thanks for sharing. I have one minor issue that maybe someone can help with or that may help others troubleshoot. It took me a while to figure out why the ${Email_Text_Body} text was not being passed into the email. Turns out that if the hyper link is selected by the user while the cursor is still in the ${Email_Text_Body} field, the email will launch, but no text will be passed into the email. Selecting the hyperlink won't remove the cursor from the ${Email_Text_Body} field. Since ${Email_Text_Body} is the last question in my survey, it requires some explanation to the user or some sort of work around. In this particular case, I'd prefer not to put another question after the ${Email_Text_Body} question. Let me know if anyone can think of a solution.

Hi Mike, Were you able to resolve the issue of extra commas and spaces appearing when some choices are not selected? Hard coding the replacement values is a great solution, but still gives me a trailing comma for at least the last choice depending upon how I structure the concat statement. Have been wracking my brain trying to figure out how to omit the final comma depending upon the combination of choices selected. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated! Pete

Thanks Doug Browning. I couldn't quite get that to work for me very quickly, but I'd probably chalk that up to user error and lack of time on my part. I did end up using a formula from James Tedrick in the comments of Multiple Choice Constraint - A List of values and putting it into a nested if statement: if(selected(${Question},'Answer1'), not(selected(${Question},'None')), if(selected(${Question},'Answer2'), not(selected(${Question},'None')),true)) This nested if statement goes on and on with 6 possible choices so it's not very elegant, but it gets the job done. It also doesn't actually unselect the 'None' option, but it does prevent the user from selecting "None" in conjunction with the other possible values. Another downside is that it doesn't evaluate the expression until the user submits the form. Would love to hear some better or different ways to do this.

Is there a way in Survey123 to unselect a select_multiple value based upon the user selecting another value from the same select_multiple question? I have a select_multiple question that defaults to 'None', but I would like 'None' to become unselectable and/or unselected if a user selects any other value from the list. I have tried a number of expressions in the default column, but to no avail. Are there any suggestions as to the best way to achieve this behavior? Is there default column the best place to try to achieve this? Thanks!
