Thanks for the reply. This is what I get in the messages when I add the Console(Count(tbl)); line. And without it... The expression tests without error when using var tbl = FeatureSetByName($map,"Bridge_Observations"); or var tbl = FeatureSetById($datastore, /* Bridge_Observations */ "1"); but neither produces a result in the pop-up. The Bridge_Observations (w/o quotes) does exist within the same service as the current layer. However, the map seems to strip the underscore from the table in the Content tab of my map. vs. Not sure if that would cause the issue. When I write my expression with the space instead of the underscore, I get a parse error on line 12. I also tried renaming to BridgeObservations, but still no joy. Here is the current expression: var tbl = FeatureSetByName($map,"Bridge_Observations"); Console(Count(tbl)); var siteid = $feature["LOCATION_ID"]; var sql = "LOCATION_ID = '" + siteid + "'"; Console(sql); var visits = Filter(tbl, sql); var cnt = Count(visits); var history = ""; if (cnt > 0) { history = cnt + "Recent Observations:"; for (var visit in visits) { var txt_date = Text(Bridge_Observations.DATE_TIME, ' - (Y/MM/DD) '); history += TextFormatting.NewLine + txt_date; } } else { history = "No Recent Observations"; } return history; Thanks again for your help!

Thanks Xander! Here is the expression: var tbl = FeatureSetById($datastore, /* Bridge_Observations */ "1"); var siteid = $feature["LOCATION_ID"]; var sql = "LOCATION_ID = '" + siteid + "'"; Console(sql); var visits = Filter(tbl, sql); var cnt = Count(visits); var history = ""; if (cnt > 0) { history = cnt + "Recent Observations:"; for (var visit in visits) { var txt_date = Text(Bridge_Observations.DATE_TIME, ' - (Y/MM/DD) '); history += TextFormatting.NewLine + txt_date; } } else { history = "No Recent Observations"; } return history; "Bridge_Observations" is the table of inspections that is related to feature layer for which I am adding the expression. LOCATION_ID is the key field.

This is great! Assuming I'm adapting the script correctly (no errors were thrown), I cannot get the result to show in the pop-up when adding the attribute expression. Is there a trick with the custom html you reference above to get this to display in the pop-up? Thanks!

Hi James, Can you expand any further on how to add this question type? I've added the 'file' type in the Field Types section of the 'types' worksheet and included a question of that type in my survey worksheet. However, when I convert the XLS, I am not seeing the same result in Survey123 Connect as Treg shows below. Thanks, Peter

I am having an issue with Survey 123 Connect hanging up on Converting XLSForm process. Things seemed to be operating correctly last night, yet today I cannot update the XLS form. This has happened for existing surveys and also brand new surveys with absolutely no content. I have completely uninstalled and reinstalled the program, including deleting the entire directory for Survey 123 (and my previous surveys). After reinstalling, I create a new survey, the program downloads the XLSForm, starts converting and hangs up. When I close the program and reopen, the new survey appears, but still hangs up if I try to open it. I am receiving no error messages. Thanks for any information you can provide!

Hi Jake, I ran this tool on a number of hosted feature layers and it worked great! However, these feature layers are continually being updated by field crews using Collector and it appears as though the attachment path gets broken as soon as another user adds/edits geometry/attributes in those feature layers with attachments. This seems to break the photo path for all records in the feature layer. In looking at the paths, it seems like the token gets changed for all attachments in the feature layer ("8?token=iSfCjwRyNOfrk-I......" vs "8?token=fsWapS3kGkwPwVz....."). Any way to avoid this? Thanks!

When downloading photos taken in the Collector App, I've noticed that the 'Date Taken' property is not populated as it normally would be when taking a photo. This would be a really helpful feature to have when using this app for collecting perishable data such as during/after a flood or similar disaster. These data time stamps are huge when it comes to defensibly, documentation, and correlating flood impacts to hydrograph stages. Does anyone know why Collector does not populate exif data? Editor Tracking is great, but having the photo embedded with these data seems like a practice that has no need to be revised. It is very convenient to have this metadata live with the photo. Thanks!

Hi and thanks for the response, I am not able to upgrade higher than 10.2.2.3552 at this point. Uninstall/re-install did not change the performance of the tool initially until I went through all remaining ArcGIS Program files and deleted any remaining scripts (i.e. ArcHydro and some Batch Edit String Fields scripts). Reinstalling the software at that point fixed the issue. Hard for me to say why or how that fixed the issue, but the Geotagged Photos to Points tool now functions without error. To provide more detail regarding the approach I was using: Input folder: A desktop folder with six geotagged photos (all photos were properly geotagged) Output Feature Class: Tried using an empty file geodatabase and my default geodatabase both into a Feature Dataset as well as directly into the geodatabase. Output to a shapefile was not an option as indicated elsewhere on the web; maybe this was an option in earlier versions. Optionals: Tried naming an invalid photos table and leaving it blank as well as running the tool with both check boxes checked and unchecked. No combination of these optionals changed the performance. Let me know if you have any other questions. Thanks!
