Hi Donovan Artz, In addition to George Thompson's questions which will help understand your system configuration ,there is a number of ways you can tweak your server for optimised utilisation. I would look into the settings surrounding Pooling, Parameters and Processes on your server Overview of geoprocessing service settings—ArcGIS Server | Documentation for ArcGIS Enterprise . These can help tweak your services to get an ideal ratio of service requests to available hardware resources. In addition to this ther is a great resource on understanding shared instances, see Introducing shared instances in ArcGIS Server . Hope this helps. Shane

Hi Hadi Ghayoomi Mohammadi, So you replaced your localhost with gisserver.domain.com ? I would also ensure you have configured IIS on the server machine to enable https 443 and bind the server certificate. See Enable HTTPS on your web server—ArcGIS Enterprise | Documentation for ArcGIS Enterprise for steps on how to do this. I would also check your internet settings to ensure the site is within your organisations trusted sites. Lastly check your servers services to ensure the geoevent server is running. Hope this helps. Hi Hwa Saup Lee, Once you have configured your input connector and geoevent definition you are able to establish a geoevent processor. Within this processor you can add an attribute filter (Attribute filters—Process Event Data(10.7.1) | Documentation for ArcGIS Enterprise ) with a number of supported operators. Depending on what you require this for you can also look into Incident detector or several other options , see Incident Detector Processor—Process Event Data(10.7.1) | Documentation for ArcGIS Enterprise. You can then configure this with the geoevent output destination and type you are after. Shane

Hi Kevin Bracy Knight, A way of doing this could be to build an application referencing your polygon in a map and configure the select or filter widget (or both) depending on what you want the end result to be. The user then only has to open the application and apply the select/filter you have configured for them. Pat Hohl I really enjoy the platform and I think its a great source of information. I recommend many GIS users to utilise Geonet for assistance. For me personally Id enjoy the ability to vote for answers so instead of one person deciding what response is the exact answer more of a collaborative approach to what people have tested and what works. Ben Turrell, do you have anything further to add or contribute about the marking of answers? I hope this helps. Shane

Hi Andrew Dolch, Try the steps outlined at the bottom of the page Add members to your portal—Portal for ArcGIS | Documentation for ArcGIS Enterprise . Pay close attention to User type id - This normally has a UT at the end. For example: "user type id—The id of the user type to which the member will be assigned. The user type id is the name of the user type with UT appended to the end. Some examples of user type id values for the standard user types include: viewerUT, editorUT, fieldworkerUT, creatorUT, GISProfessionalBasicUT, GISProfessionalStdUT, and GISProfessionalAdvUT." Shane

Hi Michael Ginzburg, What version of ArcGIS Enterprise are you running and is the enterprise all built on one machine? There could be a number of issues causing this however I would look into your ArcGIS Server and its settings around the life cycle of your services. Some of the settings around Pooling, Processes and Parameters may have to be adjusted to match your organisations requirements. It could also also explain your gradual decline in performance after restarting. I would also check your systems specification vs the recommended ArcGIS Server 10.8.x system requirements—ArcGIS Enterprise | Documentation for ArcGIS Enterprise and ensure its scaled accordingly to your organisation. Hi Jayeeta Chakraborty, This is a great question, in addition to covering the information outlined in the certification information PDF I would go through https://community.esri.com/community/esri-technical-certification/blog/2018/04/13/steps-to-certification-success. Just remember its an exam so if you understand the concepts and logic you are able to apply it to many different scenarios. Don't dwell on questions and if you have time, come back to it during the review at the end. Shane If this answer was helpful please mark it as helpful. If this answer solved your question please mark it as the answer to help others who have the same question.

Hi Jim Lugosi, In addition to Eduardo Fernandez's great comments, if the datastores are configured for "HA" you are replicate the functionality of a datastore failure by promoting and demoting datastores. This process switches primary and secondary datastores respectfully within the server administrator. Creating a fail over by software command. Shane

Hi Heidi Ziegler For the file: Go to Add layers to maps—Portal for ArcGIS | Documentation for ArcGIS Enterprise (Portal), Add layers to maps—ArcGIS Online Help | Documentation (ArcGIS Online). Hi Brian Lomas, Have you tried recreating everything and ensuring it follows all the guidelines within Receive JSON on a REST Endpoint—Process Event Data(10.8) | Documentation for ArcGIS Enterprise ? You probably have, however I can see it contains quite in depth usage notes compared to some of the other input connectors and wouldn't hurt to go over it again if you haven't already. Shane
