Hi Ahmad, Thank you for posting your questions. Is it possible to select value from drop list based on another drop list selection ? If you are referring to contingent values (make values in one field dependent on values in another field), these are not currently available in Smart Editor. also in the smart edit widget i can hide fields based on the user selection, but how i can show fields if it was hidden Please would you be able to provide more details and maybe a screenshot to illustrate what you are trying to do?

Hi SFM Travis Bott‌, Leveraging Attribute Rules and Arcade to write data into fields is not on the roadmap for the Smart Editor widget specifically, I'm sorry to disappoint Smart Actions are only meant to make fields required, hidden, or disabled. Preset Attribute Actions will allow you to predefine value-s for field-s so users don't have to input them. ... BUT, what you are requesting is on the list of requirements for the next generation editing experience. Thank you for the details! I have taken note of this idea and will follow up if there is a plan to implement this. For the time being, you may want to try adding an "About widget" to your application with the text information and set that widget to open on load. See my example below (the theme used for this example is Foldable, but this should also work with other themes that allow adding widgets in two controllers/sections of the application - so that you can have both the Smart Editor and the About widget open at the same time) :

Hello! If you need to make edits to your related table in Web AppBuilder, you can use the Smart Editor widget and configure the related table in the widget configuration. First, make sure you've added the feature layer to a web map (the related table should be added along with it) - do not remove the table from the web map. Create a Web AppBuilder app. Then: 1. In the Smart Editor widget configuration, click the table icon under Actions against the editable hosted feature layer row: 2. Make sure the related table-s are editable: 3. Create a new feature or edit an existing feature, and click the small Add icon in the "Related Table/Layer" section to create a new related record in your table. If a related record already exists in the related table for this feature, you will see it there. Click it to edit it. I hope this helps with what you are trying to do!

Hi, I'm sorry, yes that is what I meant. You can edit both the layer and the table in Web AppBuilder using the Smart Editor widget if there is a relationship between them. But your use case seems to have different requirements and I understand you would like to edit the table itself. Since the Edit and the Smart Editor widgets are "feature" editors, you will not be able to use these to edit directly into a table layer unless it has a relationship with another layer. Hi Josh, Thank you for your question. There are no limitations to the number of feature templates that can be shown in Smart Editor. A few things may be at play here. The Smart Editor widget will display the templates as they were published with your service. Changes made to the layer symbology directly into the web map may not be instantly reflected in the Smart Editor template picker. This is a known limitation for this widget. A few options you may want to try to see if it helps: 1. If changes to the symbology were made in the web map, make sure you save the layer in the web map after making the symbology changes and then save your web map again. 2. If changes were made from the feature layer's visualization tab, the changes should be reflected in your web map and web app once you refresh. Note you may need to refresh your Smart Editor configuration for changes to be reflected. I hope either of these options helps with what you are trying to do! Otherwise, please provide more details on how you have configured your layer symbology and we can look for another workaround. Regards, Alix

Hi Dave Orlando‌, Experience Builder will not replace Web AppBuilder nor make it obsolete. Both builders will be running and maintained in parallel. Web AppBuilder will continue to be available. It's great to hear about users expanding onto our platform. Experience Builder is built on ArcGIS API 4.x for JavaScript, whereas Web AppBuilder is built on version 3.x. ArcGIS Experience Builder takes advantage of modern web development technologies, including React and TypeScript, which are part of the new widget development platform. This allows us to implement new ideas and innovate with new exciting capabilities!
