Hi Dianne Gray, Thank you for sharing on ArcGIS Ideas! As you've stated, the Smart Editor widget in ArcGIS Web AppBuilder does not currently provide the capability to update Preset Attribute Actions for existing features - Presets will only be triggered when creating a new feature. This is a known limitation and updating all Presets for existing features will probably not be included in the product plan for now. However, we are looking to allow batch updating Attribute Actions for multiple selected features (including Addresses, Coordinates, and Intersections - but this excludes Presets). Also, while it is not currently possible to trigger an update on a date Preset Attribute Actions, you may be able to use the following workaround for what you are trying to do: keep track of created and updated features, see the associated documentation here. By enabling this capability on your layer from the item settings, fields are added to your layer with the last edited date and the editor's username. We will keep you posted on any related updates. Regards, Alix

Hi Tim Flynn, Thank you for bringing this up. I think you are right and the time should also be required. This will be corrected in an upcoming update of the Smart Editor widget in ArcGIS Online. Regards, Alix

Hi Anne Santa Maria Thank you for your questions. For your first question (1) – Currently, the best way to achieve this is to regenerate your Excel workbooks after making the change in your data model (so recreate a new data loading workspace in a separate destination folder by running the Create Data Loading Workspace tool again) and then either copy the corrected Excel workbooks into your initial workspace to replace the incorrect ones, or simply copy the new/corrected lines and rows. The functionality to upgrade existing workbooks is currently under consideration by our team of developers and may be introduced in a future update of the tools. For your second question (2) – Based on your description and screenshot, your workflow for separating values using the inverse query looks correct. Is there something more specific you are trying to achieve here? For your third question (3) – You can add it to the asset package geodatabase and the target schema tab (adding it to the mapping tab is not required). Regards, Alix

Hi Marcel Wolf, Thank you for sharing this idea. I assume it is for the Smart Editor widget in ArcGIS Web AppBuilder. We will log this enhancement, but please note this capability may be made available in the future Experience Builder editing widget rather than in Web AppBuilder. Regards, Alix

Hi Glenn Davidson, Thank you for sharing your question. The Smart Editor widget will display the templates as they were published with your service. Changes made to the symbology directly into the web map (including labels) may not be reflected in the template picker as you've described. This is a known limitation and a fix still under consideration in our product plan. Regards, Alix

Hi Brian Kaplan, Thank you for reaching out. This looks like it may be related to some caching issues. Please try clearing your browser cache, and if you are still experiencing issues, I would recommend contacting Esri Technical Support to further investigate. Regards, Alix

Hi Adam Gebhart, An intersection value picker has been introduced in the latest update of the Smart Editor widget in ArcGIS Online. To allow an editor to select between multiple intersecting values from the intersected layer, enable the intersection value picker in the general settings. For example below, a new pipe line intersects with existing pipes and I can now select which values to write into the elevation fields for my new feature. Please try it out. Hopefully, this will meet your needs!

Hi Nik, You should now be able to successfully copy features from a shapefile added through the Add Data widget using the Smart Editor widget. Make sure to enable the option to Allow user to create new feature(s) from existing feature(s) from the General Settings tab in the widget configuration. Check the option Copied features values override defaults to enable feature values to carry over to the new feature. Values from the copied features will override the default template values only for the matched fields.
