Similar to the way the Info Summary widget in WAB displayed items, the List widget in ExB should have the ability to display items in the list by grouping them based on a field value, and also display the count of the grouped items.

This is already available using the Near Me widget. See Recreating Web Appbuilder Info Summary widget workflows in Experience Builder

Well it's sort of there - but there is no way I can see to add an expression so the Display field can be used to show more information like in the Info Summary widget - it only lets you select one field for the Display so that's not very helpful.

If the Display field properties for the Analysis in the Near Me widget could be modified to include a custom expression then the functionality would be similar. The way it is right now is not ideal.

@AlixVezina This was incorrectly marked as Already Offered - it isn't. The linked Near Me widget workaround is map based, not data-driven, and does not allow for the configuration that is being requested here. It also has major limitations in the dynamic filter being scale-based, so you get different (wrong!) summary results depending on the zoom level of the map.

Near Me also requires a trigger, and having it trigger by moving the map isn't helpful when what we are looking for is just a way to group data by field. This needs to be something that does not require any user interaction to initiate - no clicking, filtering, selecting, or panning.

This idea should still be open for voting, because right now the only real answer seems to be "embed a dashboard"

@MTracy1 Thanks for posting! My understanding of this request was for the functionality to align with what was provided in Web AppBuilder, which was map based.

But you are correct that this request was specific to the List widget, so we can keep it open.

Re-opening as this request is specific to the List widget, and Near Me only provides a workaround.

@AlixVezina Thank you!
