This just came up for us in Field Maps. We are able to set an attachment as required in Survey123. We would like to see the same functionality in Field Maps. We've made required yes/no question asking if they included a photo, but this doesn't force a photo to be taken.

I would love to see this functionality too. Most of the time, our crews do a pretty good job of going back and "finishing" the assignment in workforce, but sometimes the manager has to comb through assignments to remind them to go back and close those out.

We just noticed recently, that the default answers for some of our yes/no questions were resetting anytime you refresh the page in the web designer. So, when we add a new question or make changes to an existing question of any kind, we have to go in and reselect all of the defaults in any question that had one set. While it isn't the end of the world, it is a bit of a pain and this is a new behavior. Is there a new setting that I am missing? Thanks!

We currently use the web app builder for this functionality too. It's not ideal on an iPad. We have gas leak crews that survey multiple line segments and points really quick. Clicking on each individual segment or point is very time consuming. We use the web app builder's batch editing tools with the lasso selector right now. We would love to see this implemented in Field Maps. Our crews have been asking for this for some time now.

So the latest update says it fixed the bug, but that doesn’t appear to be the case for us. Can anyone else verify this?

Just a little update....our account manager reached out to the Survey123 team and received this response... Some context on this issue, before we explore a quick resolution: Due to security considerations, since version 3.14, surveys published from Survey123 Connect and the web designer disable editing capabilities when the survey is originally published. This causes the ‘Edit’ option in the Survey123 field app Sent folder to be disabled by default, which is a change in behavior when looking at prior versions. The change in behavior is not caused by the mobile app. Is more a matter of a more restrictive survey configuration. Resolution: If the survey was published in Survey123 Connect Go into the survey options and enable the Edit option within the Sent folder Make sure your survey feature layer as editing (update) capabilities on Publish survey again If the survey was published in Survey123 designer You need to download the survey into Connect, make a copy of it (save as) and follow instructions outline above for Connect Having to convert designer surveys into Connect surveys for this reason is not desirable. We are looking at options to resolve this so you no longer need to convert designer into Connect surveys for this.

This seems to be a temporary fix for me. Eventually it goes back to not updating the information. Like some others have mentioned, this seems to be limited to our own map services and not data stored on agol.

Unfortuntaley, the web designer doesn't have that setting. From what I understand from the tech we dealt with, connect is still working as intended.

I think you may be right. I don't use connect at all. It's becoming more and more on an issue though. Our users are frustrated at not being able to edit their own surveys.

Hey, @Anonymous User, I found this to be the case with us as well. I haven't tested it on android, so I'm not sure if it's the same on that, but editing a sent survey isn't possible on iOS anymore. I had them log a bug for this so I am hoping this gets fixed soon. This only happens if you created the survey with the web designer. If the survey was created with connect, everything still works fine. BUG-000147370

@IsmaelChivite I guess I should have been more specific. So the issue occurs when a user tries to edit his own sent survey on the iPad. we have about 10 or so surveys. This just started happening with the last update to Survey123. It was a universal issue, occurring to all the surveys and we hadn’t made any changes. The issue was replicated by customer service and listed as a bug, however, I hadn’t seen anyone in the community talking about the problem. This doesn’t affect surveys created with connect….only those created with the web designer.

Hey @IsmaelChivite, has anyone else had the issue where you cannot edit your own submitted surveys anymore? Apparently this only happens with surveys that have been published with the web designer. I have a bug logged for it, but this has been a huge issue for us and I really don't see any mention of it in the community here. Just wondering if you've heard about this from other folks.

I'd like to see this functionality in the list widget. It would be great to have one list view with multiple data sources vs 10 different lists. Our example is pulling different surveys into a daily work dashboard. I have 11 different infographics all set to today's work. We would like to see a list view of this in one list vs creating 11 different lists in tabs. There just isn't enough real estate on the screen to quickly see a view of what's going on.
