Hi Thomas, The 'No carrier' component simply refers to the fact that it wasn't sold through a mobile phone carrier (there can be subtle differences for a phone model from carrier to carrier in terms of software, radios, etc.). Can you provide the version of Android that the devices are using? It doesn't seem to be well documented on Garmin's site; in checking an Amazon Q&A section, there was a reference to Android 4.0.4, which is not a supported version of Android for Survey123.

Hi there, Can you describe in a little more detail the issue? Is the issue determining which field is currently active and the application not ensuring it is visible as they go through the survey? Is the surveyor needing to move around the form manually?

Hi Carl, What you're probably looking for is actually the Input Mask capability - Esri custom columns—Survey123 for ArcGIS | ArcGIS . For example, a North American phone number (+1-###-###-####) can be expressed as D99-999-9999 (the D at the beginning is 1-9, the 9 is 0-9); technically the first digit can't be 1, but for your purposes, it will do. Note that this pattern outside North America can change from country to country, as each country has their own pattern for creating phone numbers. If you do want to implement it via a constraint check, it is fairly straight forward. The regex function regex(., '[2-9]\d{2}-\d{3}-\d{4}') accomplishes that (area codes don't begin with 1)

Hi Peter, At this point, we are still looking at the survey author defining the offline basemap; would you mind detailing what the sticking points with that authoring workflow is when compared to the survey author defining the offline areas?

Hi Nicole, Thanks for sharing this survey. The key point appears to be that when you set the number of repeats using repeat_count, the expectation is that *exact* number of repeats must be submitted.

Hi Nicole, The 'My Surveys' page on survey123.arcgis.com must query ArcGIS Online to discover the surveys that are in your account. This is similar to the 'My Stories' web page hosted by the Story Maps team; after you load these web pages, the web pages instruct your browser to query ArcGIS Online for the data items. If your browser either can't talk to ArcGIS Online or the communication is interrupted or slow, the web pages will not function properly.

Hi, In short - deep links are not fully supported on Android. We're working to provide a more universal link process. If you're authoring via the Survey123 website, they can still submit via the web page. If you're authoring via Survey123 Connect, a possible solution in the meantime might be to try the new web viewer we just launched in beta- it's available by clicking on the globe icon when the survey is open and selecting 'Open in Survey123 web app'.

Hi Katja, We don't support a hierarchical choice set within 1 list. That being said: 1) Using the autocomplete appearance, the list becomes searchable- that may remove the need for a browsable hierarchy. 2) You could visually accomplish something similar by using HTML in the label of a select and provide a generic or dummy value for the category. I would also recommend a constraint check for the generic/dummy value if the category by itself is not a valid choice 3) Cascading Selects allow you to create a browse able data structure across two questions (a choice of header, the group values) - see Cascading and external selects—Survey123 for ArcGIS | ArcGIS

Hi Rhonda, A couple of things to note- 1. This sounds like you might be affected by one of the bugs being addressed in the critical update we will be releasing soon (see Isamel's post - https://community.esri.com/groups/survey123/blog/2017/01/12/critical-update-to-survey123-field-app-available-11025 ) 2. If not, you can recover data by moving the application database from the phone to a desktop computer and use Survey123 from there to upload - Troubleshoot—Survey123 for ArcGIS | ArcGIS has instructions to do so.

Hi Oscar, I'm not quite sure what you're meaning by "lat/long defined in the URL not generic lat/long will produce an overlay on the existing point within collector" - if the Point_X and Point_Y are the same as the lat/long of the shape, they will still overlay. With regard to this in your case, the url should have center={Point_Y},{Point_X} in the link in the popup

Hi Hamid, For purposes of the documentation, you should interpret 'publisher' as 'owner' - when ownership is changed on a survey, the person who published (and previously owns it) loses their access privileges via the Survey123 website. AFAIK, once ownership is changed, there is no history of an ArcGIS item to determine the original owner. We'll take the proposed language change under advisement. The solution for sharing access is to have a group whose membership includes all people that need to view the results and share the survey via the 'Collaborate' tab in the Survey123 website (for view-only, use the 'Analyze' setting). You will be able to view them in the 'My Surveys' gallery by selecting 'I can analyze' in the top left of the gallery.

Hi Peter, We've had this enhancement pop up before; it's on our longer term plans to provide support for vector tiles in our apps. One of the hold ups is that the SDKs that our applications use have only recently received support for vector tiles themselves.
