Hi @VanessaSimps , This normally indicates a networking error with Survey123 Connect; this can occur in a scenario such as connecting/disconnecting a VPN. Restarting Survey123 Connect should address the issue.

Hi @Hussam_AlJabri , Was the feature service you are submitting data to created by Survey123 Connect? If so, it should be using a composite relationship type, which will delete the related records. You can confirm the relatioship type by opening the service URL for the feature service, clicking on the 'All Layers and Tables' link, and then viewing the JSON version of that page. I am seeing that the tables for related records are not being updated after deletion on the Survey123 data page; manually refreshing the data removes the deleted records.

Hi @DerrickWestoby , Given your description, you should also be using a groupByFieldsForStatisitcs parameter with the tree field so that the counts are grouped by tree type.

Hi @DataOfficer , This is most likely an issue with the Windows Display Scaling setting - can you provide what value it is set at? In particular, if the value is not evenly divisible by 100% (i.e., 125%, 150%), the shifting occurs due to a bug with the underlying programming environment (Qt) used by Survey123. This has been resolved in the version of Qt used by the current beta version - could you get the beta from the Early Adopter Community and test?

Hi @kmsmikrud , There are a couple of ways to provide the previously recorded information. First, the data could be structured with the inspection visits being recorded in a related record (repeat) to the inspections site/asset. You could then use the query parameter in the bind::esri:parameters column to load previous repeat values. Another mechanism would be to query the feature service for records associated with the inspection site and then process them into custom results. This would make use of custom JavaScript functions to access the previous data.

Hi @HazeyJamie , You can use Survey123 to embed a form within a StoryMap, though it is best for focusing on one topic in detail rather than capture several geographic objects. You may also want to look at the Crowdsource Reporter app.

Hi @Anonymous User , The situation you are describing is normally best handled by using a repeat to record the observations. Based on the image of the form, it looks like the repeat would have 3 questions - depth, station and offsetROW . This would reduce the calculation for the average value to sum(${depth}) div count(${depth}) (sum over number of records). Within your existing calculation, note that empty depth questions are interpreted as NaN (not a number) and prevent completion of the denom question. This can be avoided by providing a default value or using the coalesce() function to provide a value when empty.

@IanPierson, I was able to reproduce the timeout error when publishing your form. It appears there may be an aspect of your form that is difficult for the webform file (the form definition used by the web form) to process. In testing with the next version of Survey123 (which we expect to release in late July), I'm not seeing the issue. I'll also note that the most typical case of this error is normally associated with the number of choices in the choice sheet (external_choices do not factor in on this). This is one of the reasons external choice lists or CSV files is recommended in the 'External Content' section in the documentation.

Hi Zoltan, There appears to be an issue with note questions triggering their calculations when not relevant (in your form, you are using read-only text questions; these are identical to note questions in behavior when published). This can be worked around by moving the calculation to a 'calculate' question that has the relevant condition and then use a 'note' question that echos the results of the calculate; see the attached sample for an example. While I've noted this for the Survey123 team to look at, it would be helpful if you could file an issue with Esri Support.

@PhilHickey_ntg, Can you be more specific about the procedure you envision? As it stands, there is a 'second warning' when a user chooses to abandon a survey - after pressing the 'X', a pop-up appears asking the user to confirm that the wish to 'Close and lose changes', with the option to return to the survey or save the data into the drafts folder.

As mentioned, this can be accomplished through the use of the Inbox and filtering records based on a field value (such as if the valve is opened or closed).
