Anyone else seeing this? The filet tool does not work against a Feature Service (SDE 10.6.1, SVR 10.5.1), but bring the same layer in for offline editing, it works.

I was hoping to see this fixed in 2.3. A very common editing workflow that works in ArcMap is to have many layers in a map, with most of them from AGOL/Portal/ArcGIS Server, and right click on 1 (ONE) and select "Download for offline editing". You just get that one layer. In Pro, there is no such choice, when you hit "Download Map", anything that is offline-capable in your TOC, gets downloaded. The problem is instead of waiting 10 seconds or 1 minute to get the single (1, ONE) layer you want to edit, you wait 1 or 10 minutes while all (EVERYTHING) is downloaded. "Just have a single layer in the map" really isn't a workaround, as most editors typically reference off other layers, and firing off a separate map in the Pro project just for editing adds a lot of unnecessary extra steps and duplication where in ArcMap this operation is a simple right-click to download a single layer for offline editing.

I was able to run XY Table to Point as well as Make XY Event Layer with an Excel 2016 .xlsx file. There is something amiss with your particular table, perhaps some formatting, which has happened to me before. Suggest opening a case with tech support, as the functionality is definitely there.

How about: Location-based Engineer Spatial Awareness Interface Manager But in reality, all I'm known as is "The dude who showed me how to use the GPS". Speaking of GIS position titles with the word "Dude", let us not forget Old GIS dude left. Now i need to pick up the pieces. Wonder if that title was on his office door?

You are may be experiencing BUG-000120201 Cannot open ArcGIS Pro 2.3.15769 after checking out a Concurrent Use license from the License Manager 2018 and then going offline for which the only work-around is to downgrade back to 2.2.x, regardless of version of license manager. Note that Pro 2.3 requires LM 2018.1. I say "may be", because we're not seeing the error your picture shows, but the cause may be the same. If this affects your org, suggest reaching out to TS and getting attached to the bug, and requesting escalating the bug fix, and downgrading puts you back into all the other bugs that were fixed in 2.3.

From the Item Detail page of an AGOL Hosted Feature Service, one has the option to "Open in ArcGIS Desktop" or "Open in ArcGIS Pro". Pick the desktop one, and file downloads, and, if ArcMap is already open, the service will load in the currently open instance of ArcMap. Not in Pro 2.3. Pick "Open in ArcGIS Pro", a .pitemx file downloads, click on it, and it fires a new instance of Pro, which is bug. Why, if I already have an instance of Pro running, would I want another instance started just to view the service? The whole point of the AGOL functionality is you can, while having an instance of Pro running, click "Open in Pro", and that AGOL service would open in that instance. The reason, I suspect, is that Pro doesn't know which map to assign the .pitemx file to, so it defaults to a new instance, which doesn't make the behavior acceptable.
