I have Survey123 form that i want to use in Collector App. Some of my field crews prefer the Collector App and some the Survey123 app. I've created a webmap with the hosted feature service from the form. However when i try to use in Collector App i've noticed that i've lost some of the functionality that i would have thought would have translated over to Collector. The collector form does NOT carry over the required fields or any of the default answers that i set up. Beyond that it seems to work. Is this normal functionality for Collector or is there a better way to do this? Josh

Hello, We are in the planning stages of rolling out Survey123 as a damage assessment tool. A question was brought forward by someone on the project about the use of Favorite Answers and whether you could limit is usage. Does anyone know if it is even possible to limit what you can save and paste as a Favorite Answer. The fear is that users might create a favorite with the whole form completed and forget to change the answers that will be unique to a location such as location code. Has anyone addressed this issue before? Thanks, Josh

Update - I had everyone close their viewers and that fixed the one layer but nixed a different layer that I had not made any changes to. I have now reverted my original changes and everything seems to be working okay. With that done is there anyway to fix the domains value typos without messing up the works? Hello, I've run into a problem after updating 2 coded domain values in agol. I did my edits through the hosted feature layer. The edits were simple at least i thought. Simply fixing 2 spelling errors. However once I saved my changes and went to look in collector the layer affected no longer works. The layer has a red triangle warning tag in the collector layer list and it no longer shows up in the feature templates when you try to collect a new point. I've refreshed the collector map several times but it still does not work. The layer seems to work fine in the agol webmap so i'm a bit confused. Have i done something wrong? Should i have edited the domain values a different way? And is there an easy way to fix this without having to rebuild everything. I've backed up the data. Any help would be greatly appreciated! I noticed that on the Android version you can drop a pin and it gives you lat, long, and address but on the ios version it only gives you lat, long. Is address something that will be coming for ios??? Josh

Hello, Not sure if anyone else is still having this issue but it seems like the problem still has not been fixed. My crews are still being logged out of their apps whenever their ipads lose cellular service requiring them to waste time trying to find a spot with coverage to log back in or switch to their android phones which seem to work slightly better but still experience the same issue. We are using the latest ipads with Verizon and our apps have been updated to the latest version. Any hope that this issue will be fixed soon? Between this issue and the apparent wildly inaccurate gps on the ipads (no issue with android devices) i'm starting to second guess our decision to go with ipads. Thanks, Josh

Hi Ismael, Just wanted to follow up with you about this issue. We have migrated to using the latest apple ipads however we are still experiencing the same log out issue when working in poor cell coverage areas. I understand this is planned to be address in 3.1 but can you give some type of time frame of when this will be ready. This is becoming critical issue for us as our inspectors move in to more remote areas. Thanks, Josh

Hello, This sounds like an issue we are running into with Survey123 and iPads. We are using the latest ipads I believe they are the 9.7. Our inspectors are reporting that the gps is wildly inaccurate. Is this an esri issue or an ios issue? Any chance this problem gets fixed soon? I'm looking into bluetooth gps devices but that would take some time to get due to budget constraints. Thanks, Josh

I hope this is added soon. I believe this would be a superior work flow for my utilities inspections and data collection processes. Currently I am trying to maintain a GUID link between the inspection and my gis electric model to make updating the model easy with a simple import. My current workflow requires me to do lookups based upon the pole id to bring in the model GUID. The problem is this only works some of the time due to the many duplicate pole id numbers we have. If we had the ability to use the inbox I could simply load all the pole we have in the model into the inbox. This would also serve as a check to make sure the inspectors do not miss any poles and would help locate false poles that are not actually in the field. However this all hinges on being able to add pictures to the inspection. Josh

Hello, My field crews are having issues with the app logging them out and I am wondering if this is a known bug or if there is something else going on with the software or hardware we are using. So far the issue seems to happen under the following circumstances. 1. If the device looses cellular signal 2. If the the crew member receives and answers a call or text We are using a combination of the latest Ipads and Samsung Galaxy 7&8 phones. The carrier is Verizon. So far the only thing we can do is log back on which usually requires driving to a location that has a good signal. This is very annoying for them and wastes time so i really hope there is a solution in the works. Off line use is critical in our area where cell signal is spotty at best. Thanks, Josh

Would like the have the ability to filter and edit Survey123 Select Multiple Question Fields. For filtering it would be nice to be able to filter them in Dashboard as well as web-maps using a single select or multi-select drop-down filter with all of the possible question answers being available. For editing It would be nice if you could edit the same question in the web app "smart-editor widget" using a check box type configuration like it is in Survey123. Thanks, Josh
