I see ArcGIS Navigator access is now included with particular user types (cool!) instead of needing a separate license, but when I try to log into Navigator with an org account with Creator user type (which should be able to use it), I get an error message that says "Sign in Error - Missing expiration date." What does that mean and how do we fix it? Thanks.
Hi @Will ,
We are looking into this but can you just confirm if you are using iOS or Android, and if you're signing in to ArcGIS Online or Enterprise?
If you are using Android, is it possible for you to test iOS (or vice versa)?
Thanks!
Chris
Hi, using iPhone with iOS 18.5, latest Navigator app, signing in with ArcGIS Online, sorry I don't have an Android device to use for other testing.
Thanks @Will. Are there other usernames you can check to see if it's all users in your organization or just one particular one? I was able to sign in as a Creator user type on an iOS 18.5 device so there is something else going on beyond just your user type. Are you already using Navigator at your organization? Are there existing Navigator users who are impacted?
Yes, I am org AGOL admin, have tried with 3 separate org accounts: Creator/Admin, Creator/Publisher, and Mobile Worker/Data Editor and get the same error. It does appear to login correctly at first as after signing in the Navigator app shows our org's AGOL "access notice" popup which we normally see after successful login but then get "Sign In Error - missing expiration date" and does not log in. If it matters, we are an older AGOL org, like 10+ years, thanks for looking into this!
Hi @Will - we may have identified the problem, can you or your GIS administrator reach out to arcgisnavigator@esri.com so we can help more directly?
Done, I emailed y'all as requested.
Our org is having the same issue - multiple accounts (Creator / Publisher) get “missing expiration date on sign in. No one had had navigator before but folks were excited it is now accessible to Creator and above user types with yesterdays update. Did you all figure out a resolution?
Hi @Jay_Gregory - we are still looking into the issue. So far it looks like the issue only affects users who did not previously have a Navigator license before the update. Is that what you are seeing? There is a public bug you can add your account to - BUG-000177501. Any resolution or workaround will likely be posted there first.

I am running into this issue also. I am my admin and I have a created level liscense. We never have used navigator before and I was hoping to test it out to see if there would be any use for it in our org.
