This error is usually displayed when there is an issue with the relationship between the comment table and the feature layer. If you can share the URL to the app, I'd be happy to take a look at it for you.

DinubaAGOL Admin The info you have provided above looks good to me. The tool is supported on that version of Pro, and all the necessary files are in the same directory. My best suggestion at this point is to contact Esri Support Services. They will be able to do additional troubleshooting with you. The tool should look like this when it opens, and I'm not sure why the parameters aren't loading correctly

DinubaAGOL Admin The Define Connection settings tool parameters aren't loading for some reason. You should not need to make any changes in the scripts to make these tools run. - What version of ArcGIS Pro are you using? - Could you attach a screenshot of windows explorer showing the contents of the directory where you've placed the toolbox and accompanying files? - If you have tried to make any changes to the script, please re-download the toolbox and see if you see the same issue with a fresh copy.

Hi Chelsea, No, public accounts don't work with the app. The account used to sign in to the app has to be an account in the organization that is hosting the application. -Allison

The steps you are describing all sound right to me. The warning message is indicating that the script is looking for a sequence called 'Unique ID' that no longer exists. Perhaps this name was used for the sequence for a different layer? If that sequence name doesn't sound familiar, the easiest way to figure out where that name will be to open the JSON configuration file that is produced by the toolbox and search for 'Unique ID'. The file will be in the same directory as the toolbox and script. Find where that sequence name is being used and edit it to match the name of a configured sequence. Alternatively, add a sequence with the name 'Unique ID'. -Allison

Hi Michael, I agree, it would be wonderful if we could bring Facebook and Google+ integration back to these apps, but as Aziza stated above, we were forced to remove support when Google and Facebook remove the capabilities from their APIs in response to demands for greater user privacy following the Cambridge Analytical scandal. For this reason, it is extremely unlikely that we will be able to bring this capability back to these apps. You will continue to see configuration parameters for social logins in the apps at older versions of Portal, but the user information will not be stored as those components of the Google and Facebook APIs no longer work. Social logins can be enabled and used through the organization as this capability was unaffected by the API changes. Unfortunately, the mechanism that we are using at the organization level is not available for us to include at the app level. -Allison

No, it is not. Each report must be tied to a geographic location.

Thank you for the screenshots. The issue is the relationship keys. The relationship is currently configured so that comments are being related to the features using the OBJECTID fields of both the feature class (primary key) and the table (foreign key). A relationship should work such that the value from the primary key field is written to the foreign key field every time a new record is created in the related table. This means that all comments related to the feature that has OBJECTID 1 (primary key value) should also have the value 1 in their foreign key field, which in your case is also set to the OBJECTID field. OBJECTID is both a system field, which means that values are generated for it - they can not be specified, and it is the unique key field for the table which means that it cannot contain duplicate values. For these reasons, you are only able to 'relate' one comment with each of your features, and the wrong comment will be associated with each feature because OBJECTID values are generated sequentially. To fix this, please take a look at the information in step 3 of this topic for configuring the report-comment table relationship for Crowdsource Reporter: http://solutions.arcgis.com/local-government/help/crowdsource-reporter/get-started/configure-app/#votes

Jody Stroud Comments issues are usually traceable to an issue with the relationship between the feature layer and the comment table. How did you build this relationship? What fields did you use for the primary and foreign keys? Are you able to see the correct comments associated with features in the AGOL map viewer (click a feature in the map to bring up the popup and click the 'View related records' link at the bottom of the popup)? More information about the issue you are encountering would help with additional troubleshooting steps. For example: - When you say will not allow a single comment entry, what exactly are you doing and how is the application responding? - Are you able to submit comments at all? Is the comment appearing in the Comments tab? Is the RIGHT comment appearing? - Are you getting any error messages in the application or in the browser console?
