I cleaned up my csv header names and republished the survey but am still getting the same error when I try to embed the survey into a dashboard. Is there more detailed info on what is not supported? Would field length or using multiple underscores in a column header be an issue? Could Survey field names, labels, or types cause this? I don't have much to go on to tell me where/what is causing it to not work, just the generic "Error... Failed" message. ... View more

Is this "Error: Initializing form... Failed to load data" message still an issue with csv file column header names? I'm trying to embed a survey into a dashboard in AGOL. If I cancel out of this error, my survey form appears in the embedded content page, but no data from my csv file will load.  I tried loading another survey instead, with slightly better results. Some fields loaded (using pulldata), but others didn't. Date field, email links, and geopoint mapping (using lat/long fields from csv file) are not working in the dashboard. ... View more

Im trying to add a pdf link using the example at the start of this blog. The calculation shown displays a link in my Survey Connect form, but the link does not open the pdf or even look like an active link when hovered over or clicked on. I'm guessing my survey item ID is not correct, but if this is not the name of my survey (or survey folder), where do i find the item ID of an unpublished survey for testing the pdf link in Survey Connect? ... Same issue here using Pro 2.5.2. PDF export does not recognize clip extents set in map. I am not using a clipping layer in a group. I tried JPG and PNG exports as well with same results (plus they take forever to export a single map frame).  Any solutions to this without having to create all new layers to get the output I am wanting? ?  ... James, I don't see a 'username' function under the device and user properties pulldata list. As others note, the username question alone does not display in the survey. I added an additional text question to my survey with a   Calculation: ${username},  but all it returns is "Unknown @property: username". I am logged into AGOL, but testing through Survey Connect with an unpublished survey. ... View more

Same issue here in Pro 2.4. No attribute info comes over when running this tool. I also get 3x the number of polygons as # of lines I began with. These are all closed polylines but any overlapping area results in another polygon. I need a 1 to 1 conversion with attributes from the lines. ... View more

Doug, If there's a script you would be willing to share for how to rename images from form fields, I would be interested in seeing how to do that. I am still running a manual process. Michael, I collect a point for each survey but I assume this same logic can be applied to tabular survey results. I join my gdb point layer field "GLOBALID" to gbd ATTACH table field "REL_GLOBALID" . This gives me a record for each picture along with all of my survey attributes. I export that out to a csv file and use a program called Advanced Renamer to batch rename the jpg files using those added survey fields. Renamer matches the jpg file to a csv field, "Name" below, and renames the file using another field "New_Name".
