Hi James, Thanks for the reply. I tried the beta site and it doesn't seem to be working. Here is the parameter format I am using in my report template: ${location|mapSettings:” 183385a3954a4f90a31174ccea39dd26”:32000 | size:500:500} Note that I am connecting to an on premise portal as opposed to ArcGIS Online. I'm not sure if that makes a difference or not. -Andrew

Hi, I am trying to open an existing response in the field app by passing it the objectId as a URL parameter however it does not seem to be working. I can't find anywhere in the documentation that says it's possible. I can open the app (with a specified survey) and create a new response. However, I'd like to be able to pull in an existing survey response for editing. This is easy enough to do with the web form however I can't get it working with the native app. Thanks, Andrew

Great Suggestions! I am facing the same issue as the OP. I'd like to be able to show a location map along with a detail map. This isn't possible with the current configuration. I have voted up the idea and hope that it get's some attention.

Great Idea! There are a few scenarios where I would want to tweak/expand the extend of my GeoShape. Also, as the OP notes - it would be nice to add a second overview map that shows at a larger scale to give you an overall idea of where the location is. Some of our survey geoshapes are very small and you don't get a great handle on where they are. A locus map would be a huge benefit. The suggestion of showing the centroid of the geoshape at a larger scale is a great one!

Is it possible to create a feature report by passing parameters to Survey123 via a URL? Having to go through Survey123 directly can be a bit cumbersome for an end user. If I could provide a link to them (from within a web application) would be extremely helpful. Thank You, Andrew

Hi John, Thanks for the reply. Ideally I would like the users to NOT have to join the group themselves. This is an extra step that I believe would be confusing for many beginner users and would lead to more questions than necessary. We have explored using groups secured by a domain controller however due to our network infrastructure, this isn't ideal either. I was hoping there was a way that auto-provisioned users could be grouped together and then be assigned by an administrator their appropriate security rights (by group). This is something that'd be really helpful for future releases. I wonder if any other users would like this type of functionality too? Thanks, Andrew

We are allowing users to automatically create their accounts. Is there a way to assign users to "default" groups? I would all users to land in a group where they will have access to a limited set of data. From their I will reassign them to their appropriate group. It would be nice if when they signed in they had access to something - not just an empty portal. Thanks!

Yes, it's a ton of "OR"'s. I considered doing an inverse query but I think that might be just as bad. (these are statewide sampling locations so there are A LOT of them. I will try using an "IN" statement and see if that works.

I have a javascript application that sets a definition expression to a map service layer based on user-defined criteria. There are instances where this expression can be very lengthy (for instance, one problematic expression is 24,000 characters). Is there a limit to how long a definition expression can be? Do (will) definition expressions use a proxy service? Thanks, Andrew

It's in the "Internet" zone which I find odd because it is located on our intranet. It is NOT public facing.

It is coming from the browser/windows so I'm assuming that would be firewall. It is not from Portal.
