In the ArcGIS Online Map Viewer, when you add content, you can search in My Content, My Organization, Living Atlas, or ArcGIS Online. From ArcGIS Pro, you search My Content, All Portal (My Org), and Living Atlas. Is there a way to search for ArcGIS Online content that is not in your organization and is not included in the Living Atlas? The only workaround I have is to search for it in ArcGIS Online, find the item page, copy the URL, and then Add Data from Path in Pro.

Hi Kory, so let's say you have a buildings polygon layer and you create a set of display filters based on Shape_Area. Area > 100, Area > 250, Area > 500, Area > 1000, Area > 2000, and their applicable scale ranges decrease accordingly. You then decide you need an additional filter where Area > 350. You add another filter and it goes to the bottom of the list after Area > 2000. How do you get it between 250 and 500? I can see that maybe if I could edit the scale range manually, then Pro would shift the row to the right position, but that is not how it works.

Here is my use case. We have street lights whose attributes include the wattage of a bulb and the number of bulbs. I can use Arcade in a web map pop-up to calculate, for each street light, total wattage = bulbwattage * numbulbs. In my beta dashboard, I can include an indicator with the sum of the number of lights or the number of bulbs, but not accurately calculate the total wattage of the system .... sum(bulbWattage * numBulbs). It is a statistic of a feature calculation.

I recently discovered Display Filters in ArcGIS Pro, with which you can apply filters to different map scales for a layer. When you use the [+ Add Display Filter] button, to add a new display filter to your list of filters, there is no mechanism to move it up or down in the list. It seems to add it to the smallest end of the map scales, and you can only Add/Delete to get it in the scale range you want.

You can use this filter and put "not in the last" 1,000 days, and it is almost the same as "on or after" today.

Similarly, I created an expression to calculate population per square mile, and I want to use the ROUND function on the result. I think this would be an Arcade function but maybe Arcade is not available in Experience Builder?

Provide a button in the interface to refresh embedded content (e.g. a dashboard) in ArcGIS Experience Builder. I'm embedding dashboards in an experience, and if I edit the underlying dashboard, I have to save the project and reload the page to see the changes.

I tried to do that but they did not seem to have the Set View Definition option under the Visualization tab on the item page.

Thanks Andrew! I'm going to try to summarize. The Cases hosted feature layer has three views defined on it: Cases_public is just a basic view of Cases with editing turned off in Settings. You can recreate it with the Create View Layer button and don't need to change the View Definition. Cases_reporter - as above but with editing turned on. Cases_current - as you describe above, recreate in Map Viewer with a join. It seems that target layer is "Cases", layer to join is "Cases - Cases", match fields where name = name, join one to one, order by Date Reported is Newest, save as a feature layer view. You have to edit the Case Reporter form in Survey123 Connect. Add your new field names on the first sheet (don't forget the esriFieldType), and change the id in the submission_url in the Settings sheet. Then you need to replace the Active Cases layer in the Community Impact Dashboard map with your new Cases_current view (might want to update the URL of the service using ArcGIS Online Assistant). Then you might want to reconfigure the "Community Impact Dashboard" dashboard. I think I have that right.

In the Coronavirus Response solution, if I add custom fields to the Cases feature layer, do I have to recreate the three feature layer views from scratch? It does not seem you can update the views with new fields on the source feature layer.

Go to your YouTube video, right-click on the video and select "Copy embed code". Paste that embed code into Notepad. You will see in the iframe HTML src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/somechars". (That is what Derek was talking about). Copy that and put it in the URL field for your Embedded Content.

I just noticed that there is a Sort droplist on the toolbar immediately above the chart in ArcGIS Pro. Also, I figured out I could create a new text field to hold a string version of the ShapeArea field values, and then use that for the x axis. Why do these discoveries not happen before I post to a forum? 🙂

I have a chart of polygon areas, but I want to show them from smallest area to largest area, in order to display the distribution in an intuitive way. I can only pick a category (e.g. polygon id/name), so I'd like to (1) be able to pick a numeric field, and (2) sort it ascending or descending.

I'm using Pro 2.4.2. I've inserted a table frame into a layout. I've turned off the fields that I don't want displayed. I can't figure out how to turn off the field heading row. I can see how to adjust the color and font size, but I want to get rid of the heading row completely, not have an empty row at the top of the table.
