Hi! I did check whether my Job Field Settings and things looked appropriate. When I recheck the query as you mentioned, one by one, I found that the Job Query Settings could not load these fields: jtx_jobs.start_date and jtx_jobs.jtx_jobs.due_date. Every time I put them in the "Fields" box of Query Parameters, the production manager could not load the data into tables. When I removed them from the "Fields" box, the production manager successfully shows the data in table. I attached some photos to give better understanding 🙂 1) When the fields do not contain jtx_jobs.start_date and jtx_jobs.jtx_jobs.due_date: 2) When the fields contain jtx_jobs.start_date and jtx_jobs.jtx_jobs.due_date: I think those two fields are the primary reasons of this problem. But, I have to use those fields if I want to use the production manager properly, don't I? 🤔 Well, there's at lease a progress for finding why this issue is made. Thanks!

Hi! I could successfully open the production manager app, but got stuck in another error. It's the Job Query Settings! I did follow what the deployment guide mentions, using fully qualified table names and editing the highlighted part to match my Task Group name. However, after that I came back to the app and clicked query drop-down lists I made, and there was not jobs table shown up. The jobs table (look like an attribute table) just stays at the bottom of the app, and the status charts shows nothing. The pie charts are all blank. In this situation, I was trying to see if there are no results made for the queries. I checked directly in the PGAdmin since my workflow manager db is postgresql and also opened Chrome Developer's tool to see whether the query received the response. Since I am new to the production manager, I want someone's help.. 😞 If you've known any of this issue, could you please see if this is one of them too? Thank you

Hello, I've been working on production manager, following the deployment guide. However, when I tried to configure workflow manager service settings in the production manager web app, it kept making an error. The error is saying that "Error validating WMX Service: RequestError: Unable to load https://gisserver.domain.com/portal/sharing/proxy?https://gisserver.domain.com/portal/sharing/proxy?https://gisserver.domain.com/arcgis/rest/services/WMService/WMServer?f=json status: 400." I had deployed my enterprise in a single machine (ArcGIS Server, ArcGIS Data Store, and Portal for ArcGIS) and FQDN had set up also. It seems weird that the portal is trying to access the workflow manager REST service through a couple of proxies. If anyone knows why this error is made or how to fix this, please share your idea 🙂 Thank you!

Hi folks, I am currently testing how the workflow manager works with the Defense Mapping. For the process of Generalization, I want to use the workflow manager's "Generalization - Generalize Data" task. However, when I reach the "Run Generalization" step it keeps making a weird result. It seems like the run generalization does not create the necessary subfolders and gdbs such as THEMES.gdb and Scratch.gdb the tool usually creates. As the workflow does not give enough details about the error, I tried to use Run Generalization script as a geoprocessing tool and gave the same parameters as workflow used. Now, it gives a message of "WorkflowStepPercept" and "Failed at Line 907." I don't know what is the problem and where to start fixing this. If anyone has known or heard about this, please help me 😥 Thanks!

Hi, I am currently migrating ArcMap to ArcGIS Pro and wondering how I can use this ArcMap's function in ArcGIS Pro? I want to use the point settings for making the areas larger than specific extent to points. I used to do this in ArcMap by 1. Defense Mapping Toolbar > Options 2. Property Configuration > Feature Classes > Building Point Feature Class 3. Point Settings > Area less than ... How can I do this in ArcGIS Pro?

Hi folks, I am currently making a map for the city, and stuck in a problem I have to change the line symbol for the Castle walls with the symbol like the below. However, as soon as I change the line with this pic, it makes a weird result looks like this. It seems like when the line is curving, the symbol can't follow it. Does anyone know how to fix this, or have a line symbol style (stylx) for this? Thanks!

I have already created the technical support case, but not a specific solution has come up yet. Tested with the other client (ArcMap on the other machine) to connect the same DB, but still the same.. Also tested with the other oracle DB,, still the same... Do you think it is ArcMap's issue or Oracle's? Thanks

Hi! I removed the Oracle 11 clients from the machine and restarted the ArcMap. It still has the same issue. Also, the PATH variables are set as stated in the Esri technical article. I set up the ArcMap on the other machine and tried to connect to the Oracle Database. There's the same problem as well.

Hello folks! I want some advice or ideas to solve this issue ASAP since I have to connect and use the DB in a hurry. I had originally used ArcMap 10.5.1 and Oracle DB 11g (11.2.0.4). The connection was pretty fine, not taking so much time to connect the database and see the contents in it. Following the security policy updated in my company, the version of Oracle DB was upgraded from 11.2.0.4 to 12.2.0.1 which makes the issue now. I can see the connection file in ArcCatalog, but whenever I double-click the connection it freezes and did not respond for an hour!! After the hour, it shows the contents. Tried to test different environments, I even did some tests such as, - apply ArcMap 10.5.1 patch for Oracle 12.2.0.1 -> still the same - upgrade ArcMap consecutively from 10.5.1 to 10.6.1 and 10.7.1 -> still the same - apply oracle instant client 11.2.0.4 and 12.2.0.1 respectively -> still the same (I installed both 32 and 64 bit since ArcGIS Server and ArcMap are in the same machine, and set PATH variable as stated in the technical article) - upgrade OS version from Windows server 2016 to 2019 -> still the same - check the firewall settings between the client side and DB side -> nothing blocks and still the same - compress the oracle geodatabass -> still the same - remove gp history in database -> still the same Here are the environment ArcMap is in now. OS) Windows server 2019 ArcMap) 10.7.1 Oracle) 12.2.0.1 / 10.5.1 (geodatabase version) ArcGIS Server) 10.7.1 I don't know what causes this thing. Anyone has any idea?

Hello, portal folks 🙂 I am currently using 10.3.1 ArcGIS Enterprise. Whenever I tried to add ArcGIS Server to make it a hosting server, it keeps saying "Error: There was an error communicating with the server. Please check your URL and your credentials and try again". Thus, I tried to check if I can use the Portal Administrative Directory - through "Federation" menu/option. And this is what I've got. There's no Federation in the Portal Admin. I think the options of mine are even fewer than the other users' portal options. If anyone knows why this happens, and how to fix this to add a server - ultimately for federating my Portal and Server, please make a comment 🙂 Thanks!

I checked field workers if they have submitted the survey right after they had filled out the form. And they said NO..! It seems like the incoherence was caused due to the different time of actual monitoring time and submission. Thanks for your advice!

Hi folks, I've got a quite complicated question about the date field in ArcGIS Pro. I am using Survey123 to make a hosting feature service/layer and trying to explore and edit the data in ArcGIS Pro. I know that CreationDate field uses UTC, so I used "Convert Time Zone" tool to convert the date and time in Korean Standard Time. When I looked through the attribute table, the process seems to work very well - converted everything looking good. However, when I click a feature with identify tool, the value is 1899-12-30. I don't know why this happens even after searching and reading a lot and lot of articles, posts, etc. I wonder if I have to trust what I see in the attribute table, or in the identification. Please make some comments if you've ever had this phenomena or found a workaround. Thanks!

Hello, Survey masters. I am stuck with a problem of using date time field in Survey. I made a field whose type is dateTime to record when the survey is submitted. After submitting, I checked the hosting feature layer in my ArcGIS Pro and found out this incoherence. Usually, the CreationDate records the time in UTC and followingly, the dateTime field as well. However, these two fields look different although I have changed nothing. i.e. The first feature is monitored at 2:51 AM on 2021-03-16 while the CreationDate made at 6:53 AM on the same date. Both are using UTC time. Does anyone know why this issue happens?
